I’ve had an ultra rare Magnum from a req pack since November, but even after getting to SR41 it appears locked in the loadout screen of my Spartan Hub, and not visible during Warzone. Is it level locked?
It’s probably the Whispered Truth, and it’s under power weapons during Warzone. The extended mag normal Magnum is req level 2 but was only added recently, that one is in fact a load out weapon.
You have to get to a req level but besides that no it isn’t level locked

Are you referring to the ‘Whispered Truth?’ If so, it is a one time use REQ card that is found under the ‘power weapons’ tab.

Yeah, you may have used it. And you likely won’t get another until you get the certification for it.
I thought the whispering truth was a 3 shot weapon cause that’s what people were saying but has any one else noticed it’s a 2 shot kill

It’s always been a two shot kill. It fires bursts of 3 bullets, which do the same damage individual as standard magnum shots. 5 out of the 6 bullets in two bursts need to hit (5th being a head shot) to kill. The Halo CE Pistol is a 3 shot kill.

It’s a three shot burst from a 5 shots-to-kill weapon, so yes, two pulls of the trigger should get the job done if you land your shots.

Every time I’ve used it I’ve got pretty good streaks on it cause normally people don’t evade till they’ve been shot twice it took down a banshee pretty quick

Doubtful. It’s not in my power weapon collection, but it is in the loadout underneath the standard pistol. I also have a screenshot of this on Xbox Live. Just can’t post the image here.

Then post a link to it from xboxdvr.com then. Because there is only one Magnum varient, and that came in February.
Yup I think the magnum you’re thinking about OP is the Whispered Truth, Warzone Magnum only.

I have a smilar issue, it’s listed in the loadout section in my collection and I can view it, but it’s faded and it won’t let me use it.
