Ultra Banshee Noob Question

I never have been a banshee fan (pretty much avoided it since it’s creation)
However it is one of the commendations I need to start making progress on.

When I jump in a banshee Ultra, how does one shoot the green blast?
I’ve tried in both arena (big team slayer / strongholds on guillitine)
and warzone (bought with req)

pulling the trigger only shoots the normal banshee bullets but yet when everyone else has it they are dropping green bombs everywhere?
I fired it up in a custom game and can do all the tricks but how do you shoot the burst? what do you press?

If you press the Y button, you can switch between the two firing types, which you can do on any Banshee!

I’m not sure if it changes for different controller schemes but for me I just hit Y and it changes the cannon

Congrats on your title being 100% accurate! I hate it when I do stuff like this “I know it is somethings super simple, but what is it!?!” I missed the days when you could do both without switching, I don’t remember what Halo it was, but you just used “B” for the banshee bomb.

Yup. I loved being able to rain down plasma guns and fuel rods at the same time.

Also OP if you’re using an “Ultra Banshee” your cannon shot will explode 3 times after the impact, so sometimes it may be useful to aim differently than you would with a standard Banshee bomb
