Last week was a duplicate as well… rather disappointing too… willow tea should have stayed exclusive… as it was the 2nd weekly challenge reward… but w/e 
Technically the first weekly earnable since the first one was given to everyone due to a glitch… and this was well before any change in challenges… it sucked to get… was actually difficult to acheive… and now… heres willow tea for basically nothing…

Not for nothing, but it’s a game. There used to be a time when you played a game and got rewarded for your time. If you missed out due to things you mentioned OR you just played something else for a while, that was on you.
Even though I didn’t do every weekly challenge since launch, I never expected the lame rewards to be recycled for me to have another chance at unlocking. I don’t think it’s fair that they just threw the best of both seasons back in the mix without an alternate reward for the ppl who already unlocked that stuff. I’m even of the mind that these rewards should’ve been another thing that rewarded ppl for their dedication and gave out something that cannot be obtained if the challenge was repeated again. I feel that anytime a dev does this, it just insults the ppl who were the most dedicated.
I get that I’m an older gamer and ppl now expect no FOMO and all that, but like I said… if you play the game, you should get rewarded. No one should be screwed out of another chance for a weekly reward just for ppl who didn’t faithfully back the game every week to have a second chance. There’s ppl who aren’t even getting this stuff the second time it’s here, and that just slaps the dedicated ppl in the face even more. Not cool.
Yes FOMO sucks, but it’s just a game. Dedication should be rewarded and if not, where’s the incentive to back 343 in the future if they won’t back the loyal fans?
M8, it’s an f2p game, of course items are gonna come back from time to time, it’s not healthy to grind for items anyway, just play to enjoy the game, if you can’t, then play another game that you can enjoy without grinding for cosmetics…

You said FOMO is stupid. That was the basis for the quote. If you refute yourself later on, that’s not up to me to tell both sides of your contradicting story. I was speaking to your FOMO statement cause it’s a video game. If you can’t put in the time, it’s not the end of the world! No one should have to be losing out on new content so others who want special treatment get a second chance…. especially when it’s now easier to get said rewards again.

I never refute myself anywhere. FOMO is stupid and I stand by it. I write that in my first post and give advice to 343 where I tell them there should be 3 or more weekly rewards where people can choose from. That way people who already unlocked the weekly reward like it is now have a reason to play that week because there are 2 other weekly rewards they can choose from. And people who don’t have any of the 3 rewards can pick the one they like the most and then continue earning the other 2 somewhere in the future. That way FOMO is gone and people will most likely play every week because every week they can earn an item they probably like.

That’s EXACTLY what I wrote in my first post, but in the part you cut out.
Better than multiple weekly rewards where people can choose from would be to either have a Halo 5 like loot pool, or a Halo Reach like linear progression system.
Why there should be an overall rank to see what type of opponents or team mates you’re truly getting instead of worrying about CSR and SBMM in social playlists. It’s truly ruined the game.
But that’s creating fomo. You can only choose 1 and you have multiple to choose unless you already have it because it’s a return from a past season. It’s still going to cause the same issue unless you already have the past items. You’re making your choice, but you’re still losing content. That’s not solving the problem.
The other items will return in future weekly rewards.
If we have a duplicate already unlocked, people should at least get some spartan points from the shop.
Completely agree. If not Spartan points directly, they should make a system to get tokens where players can have a catalog of ‘redeemable’ rewards
Bruh are you for reals stop being so self oriented, I too already have the reward for this week as I too got it when it first dropped, but seriously the Halo community needs to quit being so self entitled to such things, like yes I get it we all worked our butts off to get these rewards but I’m not complaining to see them coming back as I feel everyone should have the chance to earn the rewards I worked for, there’s a few I didn’t get myself at the time and I slowly await my chance to earn them when they do appear.
I’ll never understand people who want to have items in the game and gatekeep them from others who were not around to play/earn them at an earlier time. Supporters of FOMO are helping kill this game.
