Not sure where to post this, but the lore forum seems right, where can I buy shadow of intent in the UK. Its not been sold anywhere and I see no information at all about when or where it might be released in places outside the US. Thanks
Since its digital only it should be available on places like Amazon but I really don’t know to be honest, I don’t really buy digital versions.
Yeah, it’s annoying, the same thing happened with New Blood and it’s disappointing to see the same oversight has been made here. I’ve been trying today in between classes and no dice thus far, all of the online stores it’s going on currently are US stores, which shouldn’t be a problem as it’s digital, but they only allow US billing addresses, not UK (or otherwise). Very frustrating
Same deal for Australian customers. There is no listing at amazon.com.au , there is no indication as to when it will be available.
I spent half an hour on the phone to Kindle support. They changed my region to U.S.A. … I was then told I need a US address to make a purchase. Sadly, I don’t have a US address. Next, it was suggested that I list a fake address to make a purchase.
I didn’t like the idea of international fraud. I also cringed at the thought of Amazon possibly sending my personal details to Jonny Nobody.
I want to make a legitimate purchase, what’s wrong 343i? don’t you want my money??

I feel you man. This was my most anticipated book of the year, I hope it comes out soon.
I keep looking at the google play store on my android tablet, but it isn’t there.
Printed copies i could understand us not geeting them the same time as the US, but when its digital you’d think this stuff was simple.
It’s still region-locked in Australia. Region-Locking digital content is always a stupid idea. I don’t understand why any company would want to pointlessly piss of consumers.

I wish I had your patience. I keep checking every hour or so, having no explanation is driving me nuts :S
Where is it?! I live in the UK and this is one of my most heavily anticipated book releases of the whole year. Not being able to read it as well as the lack of a reason for its absence here is making me a very unhappy person.
Joe tweeted out yesterday that they have people looking into it. Probably some silly legal reasoning, I imagine it will drop into the store soon

Thanks for that, I don’t have twitter.
This is really frustrating. The wait is killing me.
A bit of trawling through Google found me a solution! Oddly enough, the Telegraph’s (yes, as in the newspaper) eBook store is selling it-admittedly for a steeper price than I expected, £5. Link below (sorry you’ll have to copy and paste, Waypoint’s linking limitation for members with less posts sucks).
http://books.telegraph.co.uk/Product/Joseph-Staten/Shadow-of-Intent/18417381
NOTE: the eBook downloads as an .acsm file, which you need Adobe Digital Editions to open. Don’t worry, Digital Editions is a free download, just google search it. You might have to register before you can open the file though.
Screenshot of open eBook and my (UK) Google Maps location as proof (again, sorry for crap link). Happy reading all
I the Telegraph can do it, what exactly is the problem? Come on 343i pull your finger out- you seem set on digital first/digital only novels so can you please get it sorted for next time? I don’t know what things were like in the past (used to buy physical copies untill New Blood) but since then it’s been a pain in the backside to get to read the new books, I wouldn’t mind so much if we would at least get some sort of official response. I know Staten tweeted that it was being looked into, but it’s been a while and there is nothing from 343i…
I find it a little lacking in the PR if the auther of the book is the one to be making a statement, rather than 343, the company handling the book.
Come on guys.
I don’t have anything more to say other than we definitely have folks working on getting it solved as soon as possible. Certainly appreciate your patience. <3
So, has anyone from Aus found a way to get their hands on SOI yet?
