so i bought 2 bottles of halo 4 mountain dew, i thought ahh finaly i know somewhere that does them i can go and start getting them ready, i get back, put the code in… what a suprise ‘invalid code’ aparently UK have there own site to put there code into and we get prizes if were chosen… thas nice in all but how likely are we to be chosen?! not likely, what does america get… the special treatment like always double xp with every code on every bottle, my question is this, what makes them better to get it!!! i hate it when that country the game is made in get the ‘special treatment’, not my fault im not in america!! i dont mean to be having a go or anything but these sort of things REALY get on my nerves, can someone PLEASE explain why america gets a special treatment?!?

I have a bottle in my hand right now and it says they’re giving away 40+ copies of the game each day in their prize draw. I’ve entered the code today and I’ll be entering for the next few days. Considering how few places sell these in the UK we might be in with a decent chance.

If a AAA game was developed here in the Uk and we got exclusives that say, the Chinese (or the Swedish as CreepyJester said) didn’t get, would you care? Probably not. Relax, we British folk might not get double xp but we do get the best accents.

tbh if i win i will take everything back odviously EXCEPT america getting the special treatment, we should all be given even stuff tbh, its like saying cos ur not in america you dont get it all… well why not?!
America gets special treatment because it’s America. Nothing more nothing less, besides the double experience isn’t such a big deal.
I’m neutral with mountain dew and love coca cola. You don’t see me complaining about it.
Heck, I’m not even going to bother with buying anything mountain dew related for Halo 4 simply because it’s not that important.

We get a chance to go to 343’s studio and go behind the scenes of Halo 4. American’s don’t get this I believe. I have already entered 3 codes so far and I intend to add more. Also, Why would you want double XP? Anyone who uses that in mass is only progressing quicker through the ranks, A skilled UK Halo 4 player will have no problem keeping up with them.

There’s more than one reason a “country gets special treatment”.
There are many legal issues to overcome.
There are numerous companies involved- Microsoft, Pepsi, Fritolay. It’s very rare to ever see any kind of corporate promotion that goes to multiple countries.
That’s why the UK has their own contest.
