Since we didn’t get much in the way of UI in the latest update, I’m speculating that any major UI change will come in Memories of Reach. 343 is really going for nostalgia in the next update, and a UI update to make the menus and UI more similar to Reach, especially the armor menus (so disorganized), would logically be in that update. Either that, or we’re not getting a UI update.
Hopefully it comes sooner rather than later, that way they have more time to prefect it from our feedback.
They did happen to fix a lot of issues concerning the UI. Like a much faster interfacing with the REQ menu during the game, where it was slow and clunky before the update. Plus the Boss takedowns appear more frequently where the damage threshold was reduced from 10 to 1 percent. Along with the Weather Effects in forge, a large assortment of forge objects, damage increase to the splaser, and the wall glitch being fixed in warzone has shown this was a big UI update.
I don’t know if reach update will have it. I do know one poster on here was sarcastically saying the meridian UI update would be fixing spelling errors and forgot the rest. I told him I was having a heart attack if that’s true, well I may as well cuz h5 looks no different menu wise. I hardly call fixing lag in req menu and Spartan company buddies at top of my roster when online a UI update. I was rxpecting something…bigger, especially since we got no new gametypes.
Reach had the best UI I’ve seen in a halo. I would love for halo 5 to just copy the lobby and make the armor easier to sort through.

Most of that isn’t involved with UI. Req menu is the only one.
I hate the current UI.
