I think Infinite would benefit in having toggleable armor sets in game. What I mean is if there’s a particular armor one would, for whatever reason, not like to see, the menu could have the entire list of armor sets that you can turn on and off. The game would then randomize or default to a set that is toggled on. Essentially the bigger cousin to the MCC Halo 3 armor set toggle. It keeps the Bungo boys happy and the rest of society has more user accessibility.
This seems like a lot of dev work for relatively little pay off, not that I don’t get it. Just saying.
Whilst I understand why someone may want this I think it’s also important to look at it like this:
Adding a toggle to everything will become a slippery slope. First it’s a toggle for Skins & Armour in MCC, now propositions for this and that.
Having a toggle for everything gets a bit out of hand.
There is a point where a line needs to be drawn and just deal with what’s in the game. I really don’t see the need to toggle off every single thing that doesn’t your personal tastes.
For MCC it’s understandable, there a OG experience there than people don’t want to stray too far from memory and wish to experience it like they did originally- fair enough.
For Infinite though…toggle skins off if you want but armour and such should stay intact.
End of the day how much are you going to notice someone’s armour in specific detail when you’re playing game? Not enough of the time to make it worth it.
