Split-screen coop has been a staple since the BEGINNING, and a portion of the Halo experience that has consistently been one of my favorites. I been doin’ coop on a single xbox with my bro for FOURTEEN YEARS!!! It boggles my mind that 343’d be willing to sacrifice this for framerate. Can’t they just have it run at 60 fps for single player and 30 for split-screen? That’s what this article seems to suggest. They knocked one outta the park with the free map-packs, but it seems to me they attached a hidden fishing line to the ball and reeled it right back in with this. What do you guys think? Is the lack of even TWO PLAYER split-screen coop reasonable?

NO THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Do you understand how much this console and video games COSTS and you’re just going to TAKE AWAY our ability to play with friends locally because you don’t like the look of the framerate? 343 GET YOUR CRAP TOGETHER! This is an absolute outrage! There is ZERO acceptable reasons for the cause of this. You are going to make A LOT of really dedicated halo fans who were go8ng to buy tour gsme to drop it for this reason. We REALLY need to do something about this.

Do you understand why they did it, or are you just yelling at your computer in a blind rage? They built the engine from the ground up to be a one player game. That is how it will stay. Stop complaining.

Hopefully this trend doesn’t continue and they can manage 60 fps AND split-screen for future Halo games… for now, we gon’ have to SUK EET AHP!!

lmao. waypoint mods are a joke. they lock a thread when most of it doesnt agree with them. sure get rid of spam. But they had no right locking that thread. essentially locking any further conversation about it.
