So Im in the lobby and my match made game is loading. I have come to realize that I cannot mute little screaming kids. I have to wait until the game starts so I can mute them. I tried going through the roster, but that does not help. I want to mute them now! Not turn my tv volume all the way down!
Just wait for game to load then mute them, problem solved. So what if you have to put up with annoying people with mics for like 30 seconds. Deal with it. Its not the end of the world.
Start a party on your own and make it invite only. That way you won’t hear the little kids and morons who think blasting their music down the mic is cool.
If I were you, I’d just turn voice chat to Friends. It could be done on 360 and thats what I did. All the mic users I encounter on Halo act retarded and make stupid noises. Don’t remember the last time I encountered a mic user that wasn’t obnoxious.

Press the right thumbstick, it mutes all in lobby
Mute always works for me. Most annoying I think are the people obviously having a conversation with people sat next to them.

The problem with that is that it mutes everyone, which isn’t really what I’d like to do. I hate the annoying people, but also would like to meet fellow team players that communicate and use their mics well.

Oh its more than thirty seconds. Plus I just figured out how to mute them before the game starts. Im not listening to those damn -Yoink- again. You want to hear them thats fine by me
