Yes it seems so, also same frame: Spartan using an energy shield! I’ve dreamed of this moment since Halo 1!
Who knows, it could be a full burst from his Jet pack. We still don’t know entirely about how it will function. If fall damage really is confirmed, then it would be stupid for them to mash the jet pack button if it’s nerfed. Its best use may just be getting around the map cheaply, but I think you aren’t allowed to hover anymore.
Edit: They need to let the AA bar burn very quickly, but shoot you up fast so it’s more balanced.

I’m pretty sure it is a thruster pack, we can’t be sure until we see legit, longer than a millisecond, footage of this ability in action.
you would hope they would take out, or atleast modify the really controversial things out. if its anywhere near a 50/50 split on the community, its probably not a good addition to the game. hoping its a reasonable modification from reach.
Still need more footage on it. As far as we know, it can go either way:
It could be a smaller boost compared to Reach’s jetpack or it could be a buffed version of the jetpack today.
We need more footage and info before we can make a judgement on it.
