It’s almost 5:00am where I live and I just cannot sleep due to the anticipation of the gameplay reveal. Only 4 long hours left. God, it better be worth the lost sleep. I don’t even care if sprint is in, I just want Infinite to be better than Halo 5. Sorry if this is kinda off-topic

FINAL EDIT: Halo Infinite looks interesting. Kind of a new take on the series. Gameplay was too short though. Also sprint is confirmed so grab your popcorn everyone.
Same boat here! Woke up around 5 am and was just like…yeah, I’m just gonna stay up.
To me, this isn’t even about hype as much as it is curiosity. For two years now I’ve been just dying to know what they’re doing with this game–I hope I like whatever the hell this experience is going to be, but right now I’m just dying to know what they’ve been working on more than anything else. It was sort of the same thing with Final Fantasy VII Remake where I wasn’t sure if I was going to like where they took that game at first, but I was just dying to see it in action.
And despite narrative, aesthetic, and game design choices that have divided people, 343 always does great work–so even if this ends up being a direction of Halo that won’t quite fit my tastes, as someone who loves video games and the end results of creative processes, I’m just so excited to see what these folx have been putting together since Guardians.

Keep the coffee running! I’m lucky enough to work normal hours in the US, and have access to three monitors in my office at work, so as soon as noon EST hits I’m going to throw the Twitch stream up on my one screen and keep it rolling until it ends.

I don’t know about twitch, but thegameawards YT channel has a pre-show of the event beginning at 10:45 ET
I was seriously worried about getting enough sleep today. I did finally manage to fall asleep last night but it took a while. Luckily I got enough for the day and I’m good to go!
This wait has been so long now that part of me can hardly believe we’re finally here. Let’s hope this game is amazing, maybe even the best Halo yet!
I usually wake up around 7 (standard alarm time) to start getting ready for work, although these days that just means putting some gym shorts on, making coffee, and walking upstairs to my home office haha.
Today I woke up at 6 before my alarm in anticipation of this! Very excited. Can’t say the pre-show has been worth the watch (don’t worry if you’re missing that before 9am PT).
