Every time I boot up MCC the anti-cheat will load up without a problem, then I get a black screen saying “UE-4 MCC has crashed” and under that it says “fatal error”. I’ve looked everywhere on the internet for a solution and tried every thing I could find or think of to no avail. I was able to play for a total of 8 hours when I bought the game back in November. The next day I try to get on I was greeted by that message. Ever since then that message greets me every time I try to boot up Halo… Please.
Does starting the game without anti-cheat have the same problem? I’m assuming it does, but I just want to be sure.
Also, did you buy the game on the Microsoft store or on Steam? I don’t know if the Microsoft store has a similar function, but if you have it on Steam, try this.
Go into your library and right click MCC, then click properties. Go to Local Files, and click “Verify integrity of game files.” If one of your files is broken in some way, it’ll redownload that file. Do that and try to start the game again.
If that doesn’t work, try completely uninstalling MCC and then reinstalling it. That usually fixes things.
