UE4-MCC Fatal Error Game crash in any game mode

Has anyone found a resolution for the UE4-MCC game crash whenever loading into a game? Have already submitted a support ticket but after spending any sort of amount of time on the forums here, looks like it’s a pretty widespread issue.

I’m able to navigate the menu all day, but the second I load into any game type I can move around for about 10 seconds before receiving the fatal error. I’ve already updated video drivers and have the most up to date versions of steam and windows, so I’m thinking this is some type of permissions/files issue, but was wondering if anyone had found any steps to prevent.

i just downloaded MCC and have been waiting to play all day and the same thing happens to me

Same happened to me. I try lower graphic, change setting. Nothing work! Not to mention the first times i download the game and boot it up, it said there are content missing and i have to reinstall it and the game doesn’t recive any kind of headphone not until i have to set my speaker from default device to default communication device.

Same is happening to me. I cannot play at all.

Had the same issue on my laptop, updating gpu drivers solved the problem. You can also try repairing drectx

Many of my friends have the same issue.

same issue here tried everything suggested to fix, nothing works hopefully its resolved soon…

I updated my drivers, it worked but I got the error whenever I joined friends but if they joined me WITHOUT an invite the game was fine, for a few hours that is until it suddenly decided to give me the error again. I waited so long for this game just to have it not work and ruin my day, nice one.

Having the same issue.
Crashing on start-up and I get the “UE4-MCC Fatal Error.”
Haven’t played a Flight or anything prior to installing the game today.

Hope this gets fixed.

When starting, it produces “fatal error”, I really look forward to the resolution of this problem

For me, I get “Fatal Error” message as soon as the 343 logo shows up, but the video seems to continue behind it until it gets to the black loading screen that just says “Master Chief Collection” and it gives me the cursor, but it just loads indefinitely.

Same EXACT problem. i got home from a long day of work and was really looking forward to this, been trying to fix it for the past 2hours.

I FOUND IT!!! It’s related to the easyanti-cheating system so go to your This PC files, go to Windows (C:), then Program Files (x86), next click EasyAntiCheat folder and pick the EasyAntiCheat Application (Do you want this app to make changes to your system?) click yes. The application for easyanticheat will pop up and under (Choose a game…) pick Halo:The Master Chief Collection and push Repair Service button, This will update the anti-cheating program that’s not allowing the game to play.

Tried it, didn’t solve the problem for me sadly… getting really sleepy and hopeless.

Didn’t work for me sadly.

Had the same issue when playing the campaign and firefight; game would crash 10 mins after I start, managed to find a temporary “fix” by playing the game on Windowed mode; haven’t crashed once in my 2 hours of playing. Dunno if it will work for everybody but go and give it a try.

sorry no luck with resolution change either. I’m going to bed, hopefully when i get up tomorrow ill see a tone of new “fixes” i can try.

I tried to balance with the graphics settings, run in okkon mode, updated the driver, but it did not help. On the forums I see a lot of people with such a problem, I hope 343 noticed and are already working on the problem
