My game keeps crashing and I keep getting the UE4-MCC Fatal Error. It ONLY happens in Halo Reach on Tip of the Spear after the beginning area of the level, when I’m on the warthog and have to destroy the first covenant AA gun. At that hill before the gun and shortcut, when I reach the bottom of that hill, the game crashes. It doesn’t do it at any other point in the campaign or multiplayer. I’ve tried everything from running with the command “-windowed” in Steam, re-installing the game, verifying the integrity of game files, getting out of the warthog and walking/running through that area, different combos of Kat and the marine in different seats and not being in the warthog, and changing my settings from unlimited FPS to 60.
- Windows and GPU drivers are up to date? - Does it also crash when you are offline and/or anti cheat disabled?

I am not OP, but I will answer the questions as I have this issue as well.
Windows and GPU is up to date of course.
It does crash when anti-cheat is disabled.
I have the exact same issue as well. Everything up to date. Crash occurs with or without anti-cheat.
Hi all,
Taking a quick look at the Halo: Reach Known Issues support article and I’m seeing the following two known issues that may be related to what you are experiencing:
- NEW – Moving from an enclosed area to face an open area in any map or Campaign mission causes a significant drop in performance. This is most common for PC players with unlimited framerates. - Cutscenes during “Tip of the Spear” can see performance drops using AMD graphics cards. If you feel that the issue you are experiencing falls outside the realm of these two known issues, then you can bring this issue to developers’ attention by submitting a ticket on the support page.
In the mean time some workarounds that you could try are to ensure that all video drivers as well as the operating system are up to date. You may also try to turn down the graphical settings for Halo: Reach in the settings, including FOV/FPS/LOD settings. Another potential workaround would be to disable any DVR recordings on the Xbox/PC.
