For those who didnt buy LE or havent reached rnk 50 yet, u dont need to worry about grinding and i have proof why, when i got wet work last night it said i only needed 11k to rank up which was easy to do i got wet work 3 very fast just from playing spartan ops

I haven’t delved too deeply into research about ranking, but from what I have seen it takes 338,400 XP to complete a specialization, which is about 38% of what it takes to get to SR50. With the XP cap at 75,000 XP (almost certain), it would take 4.5 days of hitting the cap to complete a specialization.
To do that 8 times will get pretty tough, so it will actually be a grind to get through them.
Yes, Each specialization decreases the required experience to get to the next SR. It isn’t like Reach where going up a rank was 1 million + cR.

LOL, I got a good laugh out of this one.
OT: Good to see specialization ranks scale. Although I wouldn’t call it a “grind” by any means. Anyone used to playing asian MMORPG’s can attest what a true grind really is.
