does anyone know how to really do this achievement? i mean it seems obvious, kill every elite is a pretty good explanation of what to do, but in some areas they seem to have infinite respawns.
pretty basic when you run through the level that elites are just charging at you.
But there are some secret elites hiding right before you end the level.
literally right before you get into the banshee.
check every. single. corridor and hallway.

because every time i get to that point i snipe every elite i see, then more come out the door and i kill them, then even more come and so on.
is there really that many? because they are always the same black spec ops elites.

when i thought i had killed enough elites, there was just a legion of them coming at me.
but my friend and i finally killed everything.
but to make sure, did you kill the elites before you dropped out of the ship the first time?
cuz there’s two fighting a couple flood forms. kinda easily missed if youre in the zone.

i was hoping they wouldn’t count seeing as the weapons you have at the time are so unsuitable to that range.
can you just kill the with grenades then?

easily if you have bandanna on and spam the hell out of them with nades.

It takes a lot of level combing but the elites do in fact stop spawning. The Flood on the other hand…
Yeah…its a -Yoink- on legendary (with no skulls on, unless u know the level layouts etc).
Off topic: at least the spawns aren’t like Call of Duty’s mean infinite spawns unless you move forward, but then it spawns more enemies anyway.

No.
Elites just need to die.
BTW this s a lot easier on heroic and like the second posts says. Go through EVERY corridor. Twice
go into every corridor, at the end kill those black elites, and dont forget in the beginning before jumping there are some elites fighting in the other side. Grenuke them
It won’t hurt you, since you and the flood are trying to kill the elites on that level so it shouldn’t hurt you if the flood is near you when your trying to kill elites.

I never killed those in the begining elites, unless the pop up else where. stil got the achievement though.
Here’s a valid question: If the elites die by the flood’s hands, then is the achievement unobtainable?
I had Boom, Bandana, Grunt Funeral, Pinata, and Grunt Birthday Party on, on Heroic.
I got the Achievement with my friend fairly easily.
