Hard to believe its only 2 weeks. That’s not long at all, I remember it being somewhere around 180 days and I was just as excited.

Yea only two weeks but it seems its taking forever -_-
I have waited long for this day, Waypointers.
Yes, just two weeks! It feels like a lifetime has gone by. I remember when Halo 4 was announced and I’ve spent that whole time on these forums waiting.
Luckily I have kept my self busy with other games.
Lord Hood:"Master Chief, you mind telling me what you are doing on that Forerunner planet?
Master Chief:“Sir, restarting this fight.” :).
This game has taken forever, so I’m really happy it’s almost here.
> I have waited long for this day, Waypointers.
Hehe Icwatudidthar ;p
Still almost 3 weeks till I can play it though, going to put myself through the Hell of owning the game for 4 days before I can play it in aid of Extra Life.
The days get longer and longer, as the anticipation builds…
My heart races with each nearing day, and my excitement rises to heights they haven’t been at since the release of Pokémon Gold. Which, if you were part of Pokémania back then you realize that was a huge deal and many fans went totally nuts at the thought of Pokémon actually GROWING.
I can’t wait for Halo 4, I don’t think some people realize how important and pivotal this game can actually be to the FPS genre. At least on the 360.
I want to go in to hibernation until November 5th. >->

Ha, going into Cryo wouldn’t be a bad idea with all the leaks going around.
Also; dat Pokemon Gold. It’s sad that the saves start deleting themselves once the internal battery runs draw. I lost a legit Mew from a friend and all the other pokemon i transferred over to Yellow. Sure the DS doesn’t have that problem but boy was i PISSED nonetheless.

My Blue Version died recently, I actually gave it a funeral.
As for Gold, my friend and I did quite a bit of searching and found the gameboy transferer that allowed me to back up the save to my PC via the parallel (or printer) port.
So, now I can access the save with my Visual Boy Advance for nostalgic value.
Unfortunately for myself, my Pokémon Gold internal battery died a month or two later.
I’ve bought one of the versions of every Pokémon game released since Pokémon Blue. My games are kept with the utmost care and of course as valuable to me as a family heirloom.
But, back on topic:
Yeah, I’ve pretty much gone dark other than the forums. The mods do a damn good job of keeping spoilers out, or at least under control.
We are so close to Halo 4’s release, it’s almost unbelievable. We’ve wait a long time for this, buys and girls. Remember when Halo 4 was announced? It took so long to get to were we are now. We’ve faced dissapointment, doubt, and now we actually have to avoid leaks. But we’ve almost made; we will play Halo 4 very soon.
At least you kept your save. lol Back on topic (emulators ftw!)
They’ve done a good job so far, Microsoft is cracking down on the leaks too. Unlike most though, i intentionally leaked some aspects of Halo 4s Campaign (my excitement got the better of me
) but i didn’t go too far :P. I still don’t know what happens when Chief find “dat Cryptum”.

Having read the latest novels, I can make a very large range of guesses at what could potentially come in to effect during the campaign. Which, makes me even more excited.
Then, the openings to the FuD series involving Cortana and Chief also lead to a level of speculation.
Not like Scanned didn’t basically say: “Alright, novel readers. Get ready to piss yourselves!”

If i understood the opening of the 3rd espisode right, it looked like Cortana was trying to kill Chief with her red, rampant side. Also looked like two strands were fusing together? Looked pretty damn awesome though.
343 is proving that they are serious about tying the fiction into games. About time, they taking advantage of the lore in the way Bungie never did.

For shame! D;
Nah I’ve been tempted too but I really want to stay innocent for halo 4’s campaign.
Halo time is so close! I am more than ready.

Yes, you’re correct about episode 3’s opening. It’s very interesting, she’s split in to two personalities it seems. Which, of course with her rampancy could be expected.
The big question, is will she survive her rampancy? It’s certainly possible, and if he does will she maintain her sanity? And, if that happens will she be even more “human” than she is now?
I cancelled my LE order for Halo 4 and didn’t re-order a RE because frankly the only thing I was really looking forward to was the Campaign and solo Spartan Ops because like in Reach/H3 matchmaking I would get bullied in Halo 4 matchmaking so the price ain’t worth it for me right now gonna get a used copy in a maybe a year or a low down Amazon price. Single-player Batman Arkham Asylum and Aliens vs Predator seems a lot better.

That’s unfortunate to hear. The campaign would be more than worth still checking out though.
People can be like that. Not everyone though.

I don’t like seeming like a jerk with this, but I’ve seen you bring up the concept of “being bullied” a few times in the forums. I hate to be the one to say this, but there’s no avoiding this with any game that you play online.
I’m sorry, bro but the bullying thing isn’t something you’ll ever be able to avoid. It happens in the real world, sure. But, it’s more common over the internet for one reason:
The mask of anonymity that is gives.
People are more inclined to rag on you, when they know you’re more than likely miles away and can’t do anything. The only way to avoid it is to play with your friends, and stay in party chat if need be. If it’s the enemy team, in Halo you know you can mute the enemy and keep your team unmuted via the options right?
Don’t let “being bullied” influence your decision, bro. There are bad apples in every community, you just sort of have to deal with it like everyone else.
I would recommend getting the SE of Halo 4 in the very least and not let the few bad apples in the community influence your decision. You’ll find some friendly people, it’s inevitable.
Waiting is a bad move, in that while playing online you’ll be at a disadvantage in terms of experience which could lead to a rougher start than someone who bought the game from release. Just hang in there and don’t let a few idiots on the internet get you down.
This is coming from probably one of the biggest -Yoinks!- you’ll ever meet, oddly enough. Just show you’re worth being nice to, turn a blind eye, and more friends will come than -Yoinks!- bro.
