For Halo Infinite, I have a couple weapon concept ideas and a weapon revival idea. These are: the KJ8 Incinerator, the Shredder and the Brute Shot.

The KJ8 Incinerator, weapon proposal:
This weapon would be a UNSC flame based weapon that is rather close range due to the streak of fire the weapon shoots burning out after a short distance. This weapon, roughly, would be a stubby gun (like the SMG) with two comically large fuel canisters at the front of the Incinerator. These fuel tanks would be the “magazines” in a way. The streak of flame that this gun would shoot would have different damage amounts, depending on what the target is, I will now list these targets: 1, unshielded players, grunts, jackals, drones unshielded elites, unshielded brutes, combat forms, carrier forms and the like all are immediately killed by this weapon; 2, players, elites or brutes with energy shields, jackal shields and other forms of energy shielding have high resistances to the flame and take very little damage; 3, vehicles, scarab armour, hunter armour, pure form (tank) shields and the like do not take any damage from the flame. -
The Shredder, weapon proposal:
The Shredder would be a brute heavy weapon that has 400 tiny spikes as it’s ammo. This weapon takes 7 seconds to charge up and if you don’t charge up this weapon fully, it has to de-charge back to the very start. If you where to drop this heavy weapon, it would have to de-charge in the same way (it can do this while you are not holding it as it starts doing so as soon as you drop the weapon). Now, a little equation to show how long it takes to de-charge: “The amount of time it took to charge up to this stage” divided by 3. Then times that number by two and put it into seconds. That’s how long. While charging, the Shredder should visably glow and your controller should vibrate and there also needs to be an audio cue. When de-charging, the Shredder almost steams off all of the gathered up heat in the weapon. When fully charged for 7 seconds, the Shredder fires off 100 of it’s tiny spikes. This decimates any non-hunter, non-vehicle enimies and players and does significant damage to vehicles, although a vehicle like a scorpion or wraith would be fine. -
The Brute Shot, weapon recreation:
As one of the weapons introduced for the Brutes back in Halo 2 and continuing in Halo 3 and the Greater Lore, this is one of the charms of the Brutes in Halo and a weapon adored by many fans of the franchise and I think it’s a great shame that the weapon seems to be left out of Halo Infinite. I have a couple suggestions to make it into an unique weapon for the sandbox yet keeping what made the brute so great. One of the great things of the Brute Shot in Halo 3 was how it abused the physics engine to throw all sorts of things around. So, I have a proposal for the Brute Shot ammo. The magazine chains could go back to only having 4 rounds, like in Halo 2, yet the projectiles could further the transformation that Halo 3 gave to it. I would say that these new rounds should be far more focused on manipulating physics, rather than damage in the traditional way. However, I propose a new function of the Brute Shot that can deal damage to players. The Brute Shot could have an alternate reloading mode, let me explain. If the player where to hold down the reload button, the character would take out all of the ammo currently in the weapon and the Brute Shot ammo would line up with all availible grenades in the HUD. Usining the D-pad, the player could go over their chosen ammo type and then press their reload button to load in that ammo/grenade type. (so basically you can have the Brute Shot firing frag grenades and such). Another function that I will pose is similar to the Halo Reach Grenade Launcher. If the player holds down on the trigger, the ammo in the Brute Shot would explode whenever the player lets go of the trigger.
