…Banshee and jetpacks
My proposal on the Banshee is this:
- Remove Banshee bomb
- Up the armor (not too much)
- Have flips drain boost
Jetpack needs too drain faster they are sooooo OP and more annoying then AL ever was. And yes they are wide open and easy to shoot but only at a distance.

The banshee kind of sucks as is, considering makers think its clever to off-spawn you with dmr. Your team can just rapid fire into it and it drops way to quickly. The bomb is good but it does have a fairly lengthy CD. I’d say if anything, Banshees + Falcon’s need a bit of a boost.
Now don’t quote me on this but I have no clue if a rocket can lock to a banshee, I usually just snipe it down but if it can’t that needs to be added. I know it locks to a Falcon so it should for a banshee, I’m going to take a leap of faith and say it does?

The rocket’s lock on is broken by the slightest evade of the banshee. Basically, it’s a waste of perfectly good rockets to use them against the banshee unless the pilot is TERRIBLE. Even I’m not that bad an I’m a pretty bad banshee pilot.
Unfortunately, a nerf isn’t likely as I believe it would require another TU which I just don’t see happening between now and Halo 4.
At least it does lock. See how clueless I was on that lol. It’s a banshee, they have roll I figured it could but just dodge it. I just snipe them.
Now what I would suggest! The Falcon is clearly underpowered, the pilot should be allowed to fire it’s main gun. It’s in campaign but it’s no where to be found in multiplayer, I never understood this lol

The Banshee does not suck, with bombs and flips a person can easily destroy another team and like snickerdoodle said the rockets lock on is worthless

Dude Someone on your team (should have a sniper) and it’s a easy down if they have any kind of aim. I dropped at least 4 enemy banshees on heavies breakpoint last night with just the sniper. Laser works as well.
If any vehicle is overpowered, it’s the wraith with the fact it can someone shoot off a person hi-jacking it. Makes no sense at all.

You would think banshee’s get taken down all the time but they don’t. As for your comment on the wraith, it can’t maneuver very well so I have no problem with it.

The can maneuver better than a scorpion but it can’t fire off hi-jacking. Beside, the glitch behind the wraith doesn’t physically make sense. I have not come across banshees that do that much damage - played a lot of heavies too, mainly boneyard with dual banshee spawns. Unless your stuck with a bad team and have no access to a power weapon at all, then I could see the problem. But even then, there are ways.
However your point about increase armor slightly and evades being drained from boost. Both strong valid ideas.

The problem with banshees isn’t on heavies, its on everything else. A half way descent pilot can wreck teams with flip bombs the whole time despite it being weak with its armor, thus my proposal.
I agree on the evading should take ‘boost’ energy.

Ah well I only play heavies, only reason my group has started playing big team again despite are extreme avoidance of any playlist title updated. Usually if we don’t get heavies its snipers or hemorrhage so no banshees on either.

Why do we need to rely on a Sniper rifle to kill a Banshee when the weapons designed to actually take out aircraft will waste shots and can’t even lock on?
Pilots should have to avoid missiles by evading at the very last moment like the old days, not the spastic boost roll tactics we have now.
343 dropped the ball when they made the TU and not pay any attention to things that actually needed to be looked over instead of hyping up Anniversary settings to ride on nostalgia. Oh cool, they can tweak the damage and firing speed of the Magnum, now about having those options for everything else just in case?
Now we’ll never get another chance and forever stuck with this…

I get what you mean. Like logically, the rocket launcher anti-vehicle/air should be viable against it basically? Good point though, I was just stressing the fact that they are not too hard of a target to bring down, didn’t agree with rockets being useless against them. Some of the banshee mobility should be transferred to the Falcon lol. That thing goes down from everything.
