Two players can't connect on same network (HELP)

I need answers.

This issue has been going on for a year, and I feel like I’ve tried everything. I’ve read through many forums and accounts of others with the same issue. Whenever I have two people playing matchmaking together using the same network, one person almost always gets disconnected. This problem only occurs in a party, and never happens when both people are simultaneously playing matchmaking solo. It’s infuriating, as playing in parties becomes a hassle. When someone gets disconnected, that person gets banned, and then the team we are on are undermanned. It’s tiring, because if it happens too much, none of us want to risk someone getting banned for longer and longer periods of time. It’s very, very annoying.

Is there a fix or is this an ongoing issue?

Thanks.

(This is on MCC PC by the way, incase you didn’t know)

You might’ve already tried this, but for me what solved that issue was going in to “Xbox Networking” settings in windows 10 and clicking the “Fix It” button when the XBL connection test inevitably throws up an error. After a retest “NAT Type” should be Open and “Server Connectivity” should read Connected. I have to do this every time I want to play with my wife in matchmaking on both machines every single time the PC’s have been restarted. Hope it helps.

And if Server Connectivity reads Blocked, you may have to go in to your Time and Date settings on the PC and disable setting time automatically and then sync the clock; for some reason XBL occasionally has issues with what it thinks is the wrong time.

I appreciate the response. I will try this. Thank you.

Upon testing, my NAT Type is set to Moderate, and I think that’s causing the issues. Server Connectivity reads Connected though.
