Two locations in halo?

So I was rewatching the Halo 4 concept art trailer. I remember seeing two separate planets/constructs. In the beginning a planet with a strange ring-like object marked on the planet was shown. There is absolutely no information provided on it. We later move on to the artificial construct shown at the end of Halo 3. The mystery planet shown in the end of Halo 3 and the one we saw in the Halo 4 Reveal trailer are (obviously) the same. But my question is what is that other planet? Is it within the forerunner construct, or is the forerunner construct a portal device that will eventually send you to the “other planet”? or could it somehow be Charum Hakkor? Thoughts?

It could also possibly be that the construct we see in the reveal trailer is the planet that is shown in the concept art trailer. It could just be that there is land on top of the sphere like on the shield world in Halo Wars (of course without the Flood biomass) or Onyx, and the surface would be so full of Forerunner structures that without light, the planet would look like it was made completely out of metal. After all, we only see the huge portal, some lights, and otherwise black surface. The piece of concept art would be on the side where sun is shining towards the planet

Another, more simple, theory would be that the piece we saw in the concept art trailer was original concept of the sphere before 343i had decided to make it compeletely artificial. After all, we don’t know are all the concepts in the concept art trailer picked so that everything we see there made it to the game.

Tsassi I was right, sorta. Halo 4 takes place in a planet inside the mysterious planet (or shield world which I have now discovered).
