Two different Battle Rifles

There are two different battle rifles in Halo 5, both released around the same time so I doubt they did a whole design change in a matter of days.

Heres the first:

The scopes are completely different

and on the Halo 5 cover, the scope is the holographic one.

I’d say they just recycled the same model from other cutscenes instead of creating a whole new one. In any sense, yeah, I doubt it.

They’re might be a new battle rifle but probably not. Plus what would the difference between the two be in combat?

Blur reused the Battle Rifle and Plasma Rifle from the Halo 2 Anniversary cutscenes. Much like the Halo 4 prologue having armor from a later date, according to lore. It’s a lot cheaper that way.
