I named this thread two birds with one stone because I want to do two things.

  1. Make a simple poll and find out how many people actually like Halo 4.
  2. Find out if YOU could have two things in Halo 4 of your choice, what would it be?

So it’s simple as that, if 343 contacted you as a gamer, and they would grant you two things to put in Halo 4 permenately, what would you choose?

Yes I Like Halo 4

2nd:

A: Allow Custom Games to create things that are so bizarre and twisted you’ll know its a custom games. allow timers to be set instead of just have 1 minut or 2 minutes, but to have 1 minute + 30 seconds or etc. To allow for scaling, appearance, and weapons to be changed to lot of different things. List goes on & on.

B: Be a Forge Advisor or whatever that creates & determines & fixes forge.

My problem with Halo isn’t with what they didn’t put in Halo, but more so what they did put in. I would rather remove things then add.
But if I did get to add 2 things they would probably be:

  1. Forge world
  2. Classic Playlist(No Sprinting, AA’s, loadouts, or ordinance, all weapons are on map so they dont have indicators on HUD)

I used to like Halo 4 , but recently i have become extremely bored of it.

2nd:

Get rid of the random factor in weapons, it is such -Yoink- when one person can kill me from 50 feet when i can’t kill someone with the same weapon at point blank range. WTF

    b. Give the majority of control over forge/customs and matchmaking to a fairly large group of representatives of the community.

I like it but recently have been getting bored playing it.

1-I would add Ranked and Social Playlists
2-A UNSC flying vehicle.

  2. a. Separate playlists to allow every community a gametype to their liking.

b. Place weapons on the maps and remove initial ordinance.

c. Make camouflage a pick-up again where it belongs.

d. Add more customization options for players.

e. Add real “custom” game options.

f. Legally find a way to kick Microsoft out of Halo.

g. Listen to the community and balance the things they want without ruining other
things.

h. Add more cow bell

More Custom games/Forge options

A Classic playlist, not anything like Throwdown or MLG.

2a. Return as many halo gametypes, variants, and options as possible.

2b. Make a balanced social slayer, that is an arena shooter. Equal starts and no gambling. Doesn’t necissarily have to be classic though.

…multi-team would be nice too…

    b. More options for Customs/Forge. It’s a definite downgrade from Reach.

I love Halo 4.
I would add:
-Falcon
-Death counter to War Games ingame scoreboard

Hm. I’m the one who posted this and I didn’t even think of what I wanted…
The things I would like in halo 4:

  1. A UNSC flying vehicle in multiplayer like the hornet or falcon
  2. DMR nerf
  3. In game (on screen) competitive ranking system

i’d put in
A) Hornet or Cobra, whichever is better for gameplay

B) Remove Plasma Grenades from BTB loadouts

  1. No. The campaign was very emotionally captivating. But the missions were boring in comparison to previous campaigns (I also disliked Reach). I hated Spartan Ops missions and the story was terrible until the last few episode (Even then they weren’t amazing). Forge and Custom Games feel incredibly restricted, Matchmaking is horrible.

  2. Ranked and Social Playlists. Reduce Aim Assist and Bullet Magnetism. Re-balance the sandbox. Increase Jump Height and Movement Speed. Re-introduce previous Custom Game and Forge Options. Remove Sprint. Bring Back De-Scoping. Remove Load-outs.

ETC. Too many issues.

Halo 4 needs forge world and there is something missing from halo 4 that was in the other halos but i dont seem to know what it is there is just some stuff that seems empty to where i get bored really easily of halo 4 but other halos i could play for hours upon hours and not get bored if someone can help me figure out what is missing please tell me but over all yes i like halo but get bored really easily

It’s a Halo game that feels like Halo but dosn’t play like Halo. It plays like a modern military shooter in my opinion and I don’t know about others but I am tired of that feeling/gameplay. Doubles, throwdown, team regicide and oddball are realy the only regular gametypes/playlists that feel or play unique to Halo right now in my opinion(griffball, flood excluded). This said I still enjoy the game and I think it’s improving alot.

What I want changed is first of all the lack of baisic ‘Halo’ playlists. Where’s the mix between starting weapons like BR’s AR’s or DMR’s, BTB objective, crazy multi-team games, action sack, coustom made flood maps, why dosn’t team objective contain flag?! and so on.

After this I want the ranking system that I know they’re working on and I hope it works matching teams or randoms into games that are fair and tense instead of one team dominating the entire game since they got their power weapon drops first.

After this a slight DMR nerf. Nothing much you can even keep it a 3x sight and all that but at least make it shoot a tiny bit slower to increase the kill time.

I also want weapons on map since it actually gives you a reason to move around the map in slayer games and provides alternate tacticts in objective games.

Reduce the de-spawn timer on dropped guns so that people actually have a chanse to get to the dropped power weapons.

More coustom games options for most if not all gametypes.

That’s my biggest complaints about this game and I still enjoy the game alot :slight_smile:

BTW: Majestic DLC maps are amazing can’t wait to see some of them in the team throwdown playlist :smiley:

I feel the negatives outweigh the positives, so no.

Things I would want 343i to do:

  1. Build off of Halo 3’s engine (not just copying and pasting it in, but adding new stuff to it as well).

  2. Take Halo Reach’s engine, place it in a fireplace, and burn it.
