Guys!
I have a problem, I’m on the mission “Two Betrayals” in Halo CE, but tried to despawn and couldn’t! Anyone know any alternate route of SpeedRun to do at this stage?
Check out Halo Completionist on Youtube. He does great guides for stuff like this.

I saw the first video!
However my question follows the 1:14 of the video Halo 1: "Two Betrayals" - Legendary Speedrun Guide (Master Chief Collection) - YouTube.
I didn’t understand the meaning of Despawn. I must do a double kill with the elites? This is the despawn. What is the strategy?

As I said above, I’ve seen this video: Halo 1: "Two Betrayals" - Legendary Speedrun Guide (Master Chief Collection) - YouTube
But I don’t understand what has to be done for the Despawn.

So the despawn of the enemies is triggered by the double button press on that big door. Follow what Eli does - press the button once and then again for a second time once the button stops moving. Might take a few tries to get the timing right, but if you do none of the enemies bar 2 elites and 2 jackals should spawn outside. You’re then free to go get the banshee / rockets / health and head back up to trigger the enemies again. Getting away will be easier this time as you already have the banshee. Hope that helps

There you have it
Speed running this level was a pain for me. the first time I was off by a minute. Once when I brought the ghost to the bridge section I swerved and fell of the bridge. my favourite speed run is either assault on control room or the cartographer.
Thanks for your help mate!

I also suffered, I found an alternate route and will teach in video, thanks to everyone who replied to this topic and when to leave the alternative route I post here!
Thanks
No, if you want to kinda cheese it, put on the Bandanna skull if you’re playing MCC or Anniversary
I don’t quite understand, the translation was weird
