I have two questions for you guys that I would so dearly loved to be answered, thanks!
I’m not sure how stupid this question may sound, but here it goes: I’ve noticed that the Light Rifle ammo changes when zoomed in and when zoomed out. When I’m not scoped, the weapon has a 3-shot-burst much like the Battle Rifle, and when I am scoped it’s a single shot like the DMR. Is one way of firing this weapon better than the other?
Now for the second question: where is Grifball? This is not a complaint, I’m just curious if we have any information from 343i about the gametype and if it is going to be released or not!

Zoomed in LR is better, but DMR will win in most mid-range battles.
LR is terrible on small maps (Adrift, Haven), but it’s pretty good for BTB if you want to sit back from a longer range.
Grifball is only in customs ATM.

Yep. I noticed that as well. You will do considerably more damage. You can kill a player with 4 shoots if zoomed.
it’s just situational, bud. You’ll want to burst for close range and single for long range. Kinda taking the best of both worlds, but oh well.

The light rifle un-zoomed shoots 3 shots that arent accurate and dont shoot in a straight line, but when its zoomed it still shoots 3 shots but its more accurate and shoots in a straight line.
And grifball is currently only available in custom games.
Like everyone else said, when zoomed in, the LightRifle is stronger than when it’s unzoomed.
As for Grifball, they are still working on getting all the settings just right before they put it into matchmaking. It’ll probably be a few weeks before we see it.
