Hello. I am jumping on the bandwagon to hopefully give notice to 343 that twitch drops are bugged for many users. I claimed both drops from HCS - weapon skins and armor. Neither one are showing up in my game. This is a known issue and we need someone to respond to the issue. I’ve found no help in this regard of how to get the items I watched the streams for.

If you search ‘twitch infinite’ on here, you’ll find a number of thread about this. Some of them have suggestions to get this working. A couple of those threads might be a bit long (dare you to read all of the posts in them!).

Dare me? I have read many forums and contacted through a ticket system twice… with 343 responding seaying they cant help.
I have the same issue. The HCS armor coatings are not appearing after I claimed them. Though, I was able to claim the HCS weapon coatings just now. Everything I did both times were the same; so I don’t know why this is happening.
Let’s clear some stuff up before moving any further:
Twitch drops themselves are on Twitch’s end.
In order for “delivery” to be made to a connected account, you must first have a drop to claim.
Lack of drops could be due to a plethora of factors: muting the stream, account linking issues, watching the wrong stream, multiple streams being watched on the same hardware/across several pieces of hardware, glitches with Twitch’s API’s, etc.
Delivery is a combination of Twitch’s and the Developer’s cooperation. Though in the past with other games’ drops, it’s been known to be on Twitch’s end (Warframe, R6S, Overwatch, Rust, etc).
I would go through Twitch first rather than go through 343.

Sorry the suggestions in those existing threads on this topic were of no help to you.
The issue I had was that my Twitch username wasn’t showing up on Waypoint. It was connected, but was just showing up as “…”.
Someone suggested that I make a fresh Twitch account and to make sure that your Twitch username shows up on Waypoint before you claim any rewards. Did that and the rewards cam through fine.

The problem is 343’s buggy website not linking accounts properly. I never recieved my Armor/Weapon coatings, even though I claimed them on Twitch, all because my account didnt properly connect on this site, not Twitch side. I am not oging to make a new Twitch account and watch for another 3 hours, because that is a ridiculous extent to have to go to to fix this issue. I am just going to wait patiently and hope that 343 fixes it, because this is not user error.

Lets clear some things up.
If you read my post you would see i wrote I CLAIMED two twitch drops.
The error is on Halo Waypoint not connecting to twitch properly. When it says its connected on twitch’s end with two drops and game account connected etc.
It was the Halo Waypoint having “…” instead of your username… They had some issue and are refusing to help.

I got only the sidekick and the mark v along with the victory pose. they haven’t showed up, but the real problem is I heard everyone was unlocking every Armour and weapon coating for the AR BR and the other spartan cores.
I want to know why I haven’t received any of the other coatings and i switched from multiple watch parties with the drops enabled and still nothing. I’m a little frustrated as of why I can’t get the other items and whatever I do have claimed has yet to appear.
Yep, same problem here, this bug had literally no solution and the official halo website didn’t even apologize for this, they just didn’t care, all “solutions” came from fans and sadly all of them didn’t fix the problem
you have to buy the ability to use it but only shows up randomly in the cash shop.
and then you need to complete challenges
Yeah mine just says unavailable even tho the finals are still going on
I’m curious, what platform are you all on?
I’ve successfully redeemed all 3 with little to no issue. The Victory shout took longer the show in my account, but I imagine that may be due to there being almost 6x as many viewers on the finals stream than the other streams I watched for coatings.
I’m on console, but I’m curious if it’s been an issue across the board, or isolated to PC or just Steam users.

For anyone experiencing this please go to YouTube, find a content creator called L3G3ND6 (threes for Es and a six) he posted a video a day or two ago that I think walks you through this and walks through known problems.
Sorry if this has been mentioned above but I’m not looking through because there’s lots

Thats if the system is working correctly which it is not. We are not dumb its just broken. I even made a new twitch account to link rewards and it still didn’t work.
Ok princess. I wasn’t suggesting you were dumb. There’s at least 6 threads in the top 10 on here all with the same title. I saw a video by a relatively small channel and thought it may help you.
So sorry I didn’t read through 6 whole threads, some with over 100 posts. It’s almost like I said sorry if this has been mentioned.

Yea the issue is definitely that waypoint’s end is bugged, sometimes failing to actually link twitch accounts and instead just putting “…” and saying they are linked. I wish I would have known before clicking redeem because now I don’t have the items and it’s too late to add a new account and watch another hour of each again. Really depressing to see that 343 probably won’t respond to this as they couldn’t care less.
