Here is the Legendary Binary Rifle, the Twin Jewels of Maethrillian (try saying that five times fast). It fires two beams instead of one (which is purely cosmetic) and is very powerful against vehicles. This weapon is not that great in my opinion, it has a ton of recoil, a low rate of fire, and the magazine only holds 2 bullets. It’s pretty much impossible to kill someone across the map with this weapon. You’re better off spawning with a regular Sniper Rifle.

even as a anti vehicle weapon the thing sucks. it barely kills a ghost. your far better off with the normal Binary rifle or the retina.

I’ve used it against a Scorpion before and it took 4 shots until it went down. If the tank driver was competent he would have killed me after the first shot.

But that’s only two clips. You 4-shotted a Scorpion with something that isn’t a Spartan Laser or another Scorpion. I admit, the spread on the lasers is too big, especially for a weapon designed for sniping. If they tightened the spread, the weapon would be much more effective.

It took over 10 seconds to do and the beam give your position away not to mention it’s a waste of ammo.

What else would you use it for, if not to deal damage? If you had a friend grab one and the two of you focus fire, you could significantly increase its effectiveness. The description even says “A weapon missing its twin…”
That definitely looks more powerful than the standard one.

it looks more powerful but its weaker. im not even kidding. a normal binary kills a normal ghost in 1 shot. this one takes 2 shots.

Took out that banshee quick enough. I just tried with the standard one and retina and it took three shots.
You can take out a ghost with one shot if you get both beams over the target for the whole duration of the shot
It is interesting to see this weapon used. I have been hesitant to bring out the couple that I have stocked away.
