Basiclly my placement was Diamond 1 cool awesome.
i fought all the way to Diamond 6 without losing a game or maybe 1 game.
i was Diamond 6 I won 5 games in a row earning 5% advancement & 10% advancement - got it all the way to 86% lost one game got knocked back to Diamond 5…
this is was very disappointing for me - the win loss point system needs a tweek to fairly lose and win points.
Its actually pretty fair. if your only getting 10% your obviously not beating anyone good. and if your dropping a ton your either resigning or losing to some one that’s in plat.
just get defeated and you wont lose a ton of %

Well, it seems kindof unfair but you have to remember H3’s trueskill… You lost a game or two and you were back a rank for sure XD different game I know but still relevant.
Games shouldn’t be high stakes just because of imbalanced ranking. If the system paired you up, it must think it’s a relatively fair match. Slight favor should be taken into account, but nothing significant.
You shouldn’t run the risk of losing lots of points over gaining a few.
The ranking system won’t work perfectly and definitely can’t account for inconsistent skill ratings, so it shouldn’t be handing out high penalties for losing a favored match.

I disagree it’s fair - you were matched with that player for a reason, to take that amount of points away it nuts

Its simple beat some one of higher skill level than you and you will skyrocket.
Lose to someone in one of the lower leagues and you will drop a ton.
if you lose to some one in the lower leagues then it will be harder to climb up the ladder.
I haven’t really lost much so ive been just going to the top.

If you’re a casual and clime up the ladder only to be shot down over a single lose, it’s discouraging & will hurt the game

If youre a casual you shouldn’t get free rank.
That’s what makes the higher leagues special, not just some average joe can pick up the game and make it to the top after beating 5 plat players in a row.
