Tv turns off beginning of match

My tv turns off at the beginning of every match and restarts, then I have to link headphones again and by this time opponent has advantage and teamates are pissed  I know this “sounds like a personal problem” but does this happen to anyone else?

My game goes black sometimes when I start and then I have to hit the Xbox home button and close out and restart the game but never actually had the tv shut off before that’s weird.

Why would anything running on your console/PC affect your TV? If the screen goes black thats an issue with the game/console, but that shouldnt shut down your TV. Something like that shouldnt even be possible i think

Does the TV actually power down, or just display a black screen? If it’s displaying a black screen, then I’m guessing Infinite is trying to output a video format your TV doesn’t support.

I know my Series X will activate and deactivate different visual settings depending on what I’m doing. Maybe a video setting is trying to activate that your TV doesn’t support.

If it’s legitimately powering down, try making sure your TV and Xbox aren’t in the same power outlet. Add surge protector power strip too if you don’t have one.

Might want to check the TV’s settings to see if it has an auto detect/shutdown feature. If the TV is no longer registering input it may mistakingly shut itself off thinking that you are no longer using it. Mine has that feature and the Xbox has a similar feature. Just take a look at the settings for both and also submit a ticket to Halo Support.

That sounds like a tv setup problem, I turned off all options for the tv to control xbox and vice versa
