Turret overheating?

Here is something I want to say after playing halo reach I began to really hate overheating turret and should there be a different way to balance the turret sorry for bothering people with this topic but I just want to put it out there.

yeah there is a specialization for reducing cooldown on turrets

Puncuation

Overheating turrets aren’t a big deal if you have a GOOD driver, and by good I mean one who knows how to protect his gunner and land 9/10 rolls

So, what’s this topic about?

really the turret over heat can really stop the non stop spamming of say the old turrets.

> yeah there is a specialization for reducing cooldown on turrets

^^
What this guy said. Problem Solved. Overheating is here to stay and if you really know how to warthog gun it really isn’t a big deal. Control your fire and actually aim you can still go on rampages. the only people who had problems with overheating are the guys who have to start shooting and holding down the button from your base to the enemy’s

I just thought that they could just change the specilization to make the turret a little stronger like 2% not to OP.

I like it, it keeps people from being able to just spam it.

Also stops people from parking a warthog over looking the other team’s base/spawn, and just holding down the trigger spawn camping. Well, it doesn’t stop that really, but it makes it easier for people to take out the gunner.

Are you guys voting right No means that they should keep overheating in halo 4.

overheating isnt that bad… if you really wanted to balance it, give it limited ammo like a gun on ANY vehicle should do. but no thank you, i am fine with overheats. puts skill into turrets.

Those of us who pride ourselves on our driving don’t indulge those tactics.

OT: despite the turret, if I get my favorite gunner in back we can take down revenants and wraiths a good portion of the time, hell, I’ve kep one hog alive on a boneyard BTB, bringing my gunner to a 24 kill perfection.

If you know what your doing, the turret/hog is just as unstoppable now as it was in 2001

The reason why I don’t like overheating turrets is because shooting down multiple banshees in the air really annoying when it just stops right there and the reason why.

again i say, in any actual battle scenario, ammo isnt indispensable. in a real battle scenario your gun on any vehicle, forward mounted, mortar, cannon, and turret alike, would not only over heat after firing for so long, but it would also run out of ammo. and again i say, i like my limitless ammo with the overheating. good balance.

In which case you call out the damaged banshee to your team, scramble the hog to safety for the 3 seconds before it cools down enough to fire again.

I just want to say what happend to the halo3 turret just saying.

Should overheat

Yeah im wandering how this will work in BTB and im glad my friend will ve using this none stop.

If the turrets overheat, they need a serious power boost.
