After 2 hours of talking to Xbox support they have told me I can’t trade my code for a disk because I don’t have a statue, fancy that 
Turns out looking back at the chatlog, I actually said before hand that I had the console version and they still asked for the code, I wish they had of said something before I scratched of the code.
Welp.
I thought it was only for people that bought the LCE?
That’s really silly becuase it’s still a valid code so it should work in the same exchange process.

My mistake was not saying I had a plastic statue, after that the woman wasn’t having any of it.

True, but each code can be checked and verified whether it was with a console or a Legendary copy.
Just call back and say you do have one. They’re not going to know.
Yeah a 40 minute process of okay this is what you want to do, I synchronized your Halo 5 CONSOLE to your account, and your digital code looks good. Now I need you to write this number on your receipt and take pictures of it and your digital code card and email them to me. “Oh I see you bought the console and not the statue. Nothing I can do. Anything else?”
Now I never saw the original post about trading the code for physical disk but I did see plenty of people posting in the forums yesterday about how they actually did the trade with the code from the console. It’s just crap that I can’t do it today.

Definitely. Just think of it, everyone would have their eyes on you, you would be the life of the party. You might even get elected into politics, the possibilities are endless with the uni-scooter.

when I did it the woman asked me for picture proof of purchase of the LCE. I gave it to her and she said I only had the limited edition, I had to send her multiple pictures to prove to her that the statue was from the LCE, it was very annoying process to go through for me

Nope the offer to trade only ran till the end of October.
That blows the time ran out at the end of the month. I bet you could sell the code on eBay or see if someone would be interested in trading you the disc for the code.
