Am i the only one being affected by this as i haven’t seen any other posts on it? Basically if i turn left and then immediately turn the stick right i turn at like 30% my normal turn rate but it doesn’t do it if i turn right then left, only right seems to be affected.
Edit: Seems like multiple people are experiencing this, good to know i don’t have to replace my controller.

its not the controller guys, im having the same issue with mine too and when i turn right my ridicule starts to get blurry and shakes, even on single player. i think im going to take the game back today because i dont wanna play the game like this.
Turning in any direction is slow in Halo 5. I play at 10 sensitivity and Halo 4 is much faster.

Someone made a video about it a while back. A decent amount of people are having this issue and it’s limited to Halo 5 so it’s not their controller’s fault. To be sure, test it on other games, but most likely it’s the game, considering how many people have this.
yea but if i turn my sensitivity up to ten, looking left, up and down would be a good speed but then when i look right the sensitivity feels like a 5 for some reason.
Are you guys sure its not a trick of the mind? I’ll have to pay more attention to this in game and see if its noticable.

no its not inferno, i dont think it is on your game because its very noticeable, maybe i can find a video to show you. not a lot of people are having this problem but i just want to be able to play the game =( i havent even played a mission in single player because of this problem

Replacing the controller should fix it, and you should if its under warranty. This is ultimately a defect with the potentiometer in the controller. It is commonly called “slow turn” and its a common problem with analog sticks.
It may just not crop up in all games depending on how the controls are coded. You also might be having the same issues in other games, but are only noticing it in halo because of the look acceleration. Whereas in other games the effect is much more subtle.
But anyone having this issue should replace their controller if its still under warranty.

Wow, a bug and defect combo. Thats it, I’ve had enough life for one day; I’m done.
I have the Elite controller, doesn’t happen to me.
I would replace yours if I was you.

Same problem here.
Really noticed this in shotty/snipers as I miss with a close range shotgun and then try to get another shot off really quick but the turning is extremely slow.
When is this gonna get addressed. Really tired of feeling like F#@in’ Derek Zoolander.

If the issue still persists, is it not worth discussing? I don’t think it is a controller issue; this doesn’t happen on other fps games. Unfortunately, posting on this site appears to provide the only potential for fixing the problem. With all do respect, sorry if this post causes problems for others, as I am not to experienced with the art of forum usage.
