BUMP!!!
Just had my 5th host quit game over host migration screen.
Is Phil Spencer at all aware of what this company is trying to pull?
There needs to be a federal investigation of this company. Millions of dollars scammed off consumers.

Not one single game being played right now is hosted by a dedicated server.
All one has to do to see which player is the host of their match is:
While at the “searching for players” screen, and once you have been paired with at least one other player
- Hit X 3 times- Hit AOnce you’ve done that, you will see Player Count, Game Session Leader, and Privacy.
When seeing “Privacy $CLOSED” you can clearly see which player is the host right above it.
If you do not see “Privacy $CLOSED” even when other matched players are with you in the search lobby, this means you are the host.
The next patch will remove the host migration pop up message I’m sure. The only patches that work are the ones that hide dedicated server information.
Such trash

BUMP!!! Seriously, this needs to be addressed, and in an honest manner this time!
Do you have any proof that dedi servers are not on?
Do you even understand how a dedi server works?

They don’t work like the servers on MCC. Play Titanfall, it is much more reliable. Just a shame that this superior game is broken and its servers are terrible.
For the record, I usually don’t experience lag, probably thanks to the dedicated servers (I’m in the UK). It’s just when I play H2C. It feels like every H2C match is P2P. Try throwing a grenade for example, and you’ll notice a slight delay.

Titanfall in my experience is often more laggy then MCC. I hardly see lag when I play MCC.
There is no lag in Titanfall. None. I have no idea why but the last few days ive tried to play H4, thought id mix it up, host migrations everywhere and the game ends.
The last time I saw “connecting to server” was the first or second week of the games release and then it vanished. Its a total lie that we’re playing on servers, and by the looks of it, some people are just eating whatever 343 gives them.

I have never once experienced lag in Titanfall. I know that sounds like a complete lie or exaggeration but I have honestly never once encountered lag.
The matches are so obviously P2P, it’s actually funny that 343 tried to say otherwise.
The majority of matches played are P2P. Not all of them but for the most part.
Monitoring in- and outgoing network data can easily confirm that dedicated servers are rarely used.
For those who don’t know what I mean there’s programs such as Cain or Commview that monitor your network. It’s commonly used to see other players’ IP addresses to DDoS them but can also be used to see who is the host of the game and in this case whether you connect to a dedicated server or not.
You can not see other players’ IP addresses when connected to a dedicated server so there will only be the server IP showing up in your xbox network traffic, rather than the IP addresses of all players in the game.
In a P2P game, the person who sends and receives most packets (data) is host.
I have only experienced lag in like 2 matches.

Dedicated servers were never promised!!!

(My feeling is that 343i is hoping that if they wait long enough, people are going to forget what was promised!)
I think it’s p2p because I’ve had several players drop and then the host migration message popped up. Doesn’t that mean it’s P2P?
It’s P2P for sure. I think there were originally dedicated servers but they removed them because of the issues.
