Turn Down Speed

The movement speed is way too fast for a fun gameplay experience. The sprint isn’t faster than simply moving forward. Gameplay ruined by spartans zipping around the map back and fourth at unrealistic speeds even for spartans. Stealth is impossible without camping because of the movement speed issue.

Stealth is impossible full stop because you glow in the dark

How does faster movement speed make stealth harder?
I don’t mind a faster paced game. But sprint should make a clearer difference.

Nah sprints fine how it is, 10% or whatever it is. Not every game needs to be off the wall fast. Save that for twitch shooters

What about if the radar was expanded? I agree, gameplay feels particularly fast because reaction time is very minimal in this game. Movement speed, crazy fast strafing, small radar and TTK all contributes to this.

It doesn’t need to be off the wall fast, just a noticeable difference. There is a sacrifice of removing reticle and not being able to look any other direction than forward, but there is nearly no trade at all. The sacrifice outweighs the benefits by far. At this point it’s a useless mechanic that is not worth use almost ever.

yeah I would honestly prefer that, and I think sprint was a good addition for Halo.
