Okay, here’s essentially what happened:
Got my Mark IV Gen 1 gear yesterday, and to celebrate, I binge-played the Anniversary Playlist.
Started out on blue team at Battle Creek, and immediately rushed out to guard the gateway at the back.
Nobody comes through yet, but a teammate does go himself.
I just sit there, waiting for a red to come through to be assassinated, when I get the idea to test something out. . .
I moved around a bit, and attempted to throw a grenade into the gateway, to see if it would go through. Low and behold, it just bounced off. . . right as my teammate decided to come back through!
He ended up stepping directly on top of the grenade right when it went off!
Needless to say, I got the Betrayal and entered the Game Chat just to shout that iconic Red VS Blue quote saved especially for team-kills.
Am I a bad person for enjoying that accident so much?

(P.S. Ironically, I started using the Traitor Emblem directly before that round, so it was oddly appropriate)
I would have been annoyed wondering what happened, but hearing the quote would have made me laugh xD
Funny, they should at least forgive you for killing them. I mean anything could happen, like what happened to you.

Usually one grenade doesn’t kill someone. Was it a plasma grenade? Anyways that’s pretty cool.

nah, just a regular. He was right on top of it though, so that’s why I think he died
