I hope I’m not the only one who thought this. Instead of offering random gametypes, one with TU settings and one without, on random maps, to gauge whether we liked the title update more than vanilla, it should have been that two identical gametpyes were given as options, with one holding TU settings, on the exact same map. Why? Because too many times, I found myself voting against the TU, because it was TU Elite Slayer when Vanilla DMR’s was available, or on a map such as Pinnacle, when the other option was Asylum. The voting choices were in no way able to represent whether we liked the TU or not, because the data would have been skewed by picking better gametypes, or better maps.
I know I’m a bit late with this, but I really hope this isn’t the data 343 used to make the changes for the March update, because if they did, then it was seriously flawed.
Does it matter? Now they’re pulling bleedthrough, and who knows what else after that. The results of the vote aren’t valid anymore. It’s like a whole new TU beta, but it’s actually most of MM.
Pointless voting was pointless. I realize it was just way of getting more players to play. That’s all and you know what? It worked perfectly because our love for Halo was that great. It’s an easy thing to take advantage of when you care about Halo regardless of what settings you love or hate.
Just look at the results(that “update”) and tell me if the non casual updates were reasonable and just? I mean i am over the fact that bleed was removed, but ditching squad slayer for laughable 5v5 team objective playlist and Super Slayer playlist (like we need another redundant playlist that splits the community further)?
That’s where i draw the line. Where did anyone suggest that Squad Slayer get removed in the forums? There was no posts that were even close to reasonable about that but it was fine to keep the dead DLC playlist? Your logic continues to baffle me 343…
As much as i put the gametypes down, i am glad to see Living Derp and Hostball continue to receive attention. I can’t always be selfish; like it or not those communities require attention too.
