This <a>tu is being done for 1 reason and 1 reason only. So 343 can show you they care more than <a>Bungie. They are “listening” and willing to change a game that is already well established.
It’s bull. Oh this mechanic sucks, lets change it. If we complain enough they will make this game a different game. I’ve been playing for a year and I used to Reach mechanics, why would we change them?
I like reach, it’s a great Halo game as it is. Everyone that says it’s not a “halo” game is full of -Yoink-. Stop whining and making excuses because you suck. When something isn’t exactly what you want it to be, you should complain till they change it. God forbid anything is a -Yoinking!- challenge. If we are lucky, this game will turn into <a>CoD.
Regardless of what it may seem like, I am not just trying to troll. I have played it, and will continue to do so, especially if it is going to be the future of the game. I would have no right to voice my opinion if I didn’t play it. And it is, just an opinion. I disagree with it not being broken; but this isn’t that sort of discussion right now.
Vanilla Reach is here to stay, and you don’t have to play the TU changes if you don’t want.

well, I know that the ZB will be it’s own playlist, but if your saying everything will remain the same is other playlists like AL bleedthrough and all that good stuff, I am much less agrevated by it. I just seem it like what George Lucas did, do you really want them to go put a bunch of digitaly remastered ewokes into the library?
Before TC knew anything about the changes to playlists aka had no idea what he was talking about: THIS TU IS POINTLESS OMG 343 IS MAKING THIS GAME INTO CALL OF DUTY!

what George Lucas did, was get full of himself, stop listening to his loyal crew of writers, and managed too partially undue the very empire he established with his first three movies. It is totally irrelevant to 343 attempting to form a playlist to player preferences, which is far greater customer service than I ever saw from bungie.
Bungie had great programmers, but their goal was to rule the world, and make some money on the side. 343 is actually trying to build a name for itself, and it’s doing a great job. It’s an investment, that will pay off by allowing them to produce solid games in the future to come based on the feedback they receive from loyal followers of their work, and respectable critiques of artistic and functional game design.
unlike so many gaming developers out there that we see just milk titles for whatever they can get until they run into the ground, (leaving us with a fanbase of snot nosed punks that despise the games and yet continue to buy them), I feel like 343 is actually doing their research in order to make winy little kids and teenagers feel proud to play their games. you can either learn to appreciate the effort that goes into the games you play and see it for what it is, or you can be a winy consumer -Yoink!- that complains about every game you play and yet spends the majority of your life playing the very games you soil with your bias. whatever you pick, just be sure to let us know your biased about something before you share your self acclaimed “wisdom” with the rest of us so that we can see your not just some winy troll.
Is it really that hard for people to understand that the TU will only be affecting certain playlists and that the rest of them will be untouched? Please do some research before you claim things like “The TU is pointless”. 343 Industries knows what they’re doing. Look into things more and give it a chance.
