i personaly think the magnum is a O.P. weapon to spawn with. i think it should be either a pickup weapon on the map with maybe 2 on the map, or make it your primary weapon and dont start with a dmr.
i say make it your primary because from what i hear the magnum is a 4sk because your trying to take it back to halo ce somewhat. if your going to do that take the weapons that arent on CE off the map and loadouts. take ZB slayer off and call it Halo:CE Slayer.
Your second option is the best. Magnum primary with no DMRs. Also increased movement speed.
The magnum has less aim assist than the DMR and it gives reach fast kill times, which is needed.
Magnum: Close to medium range. The clip keeps it from being a long range weapon.
DMR: Any range.
So you can have a 4sk weapon or a 5sk weapon that is more accurate. Your choice. I’d say having them both offers a very nice strategic layer to the game.
Magnum is an offense to starting balance.
Put it on maps as pickups for people to actually control as power weapons.
