Less aim assist
Less magnetism
Reduce dmr to a 2x scope
No power weapons in personal ordinance
BR 4 shots to the head kills
Descope sniper rifles when hit
Scattershot kill range same as shotgun
Who’s with me???

Aim assist is not a problem but the magnets are, and the flinch is worst than descope
Aim assist is a problem but not because it makes aiming easier - more because it causes your reticle to get pulled off your intended target if someone else leaps across your line of sight. So yeah a reduction would be great.

This is so damn frustrating. I’ve died plenty just cuz of that. I’d be close to finishing a person, then a wild teammate appears to throw my aim off. It’s very powerful.

What would be the point of personal ordinance without power weapons? If this were to happen, you would need to rework all the maps so there’s a greater variety of power weapons available (mainly so commendations can be completed).
Highly disagree, unless you rework all the precision weapons to compensate. A better option, I think, would be to slighly increase the BR’s rate of fire. As it stands, the BR is easier to use than the DMR, so making it too powerful would make the DMR useless (especially combined with the 2x scope thing).
I would say bring back de-scoping all together, or make the snipe rifle much harder to aim when being shot at while scoping.
Dunno how I feel about this. Kind of on the fence.
I love the other 3, though.

In my opinion there are just too many power weapons floating around on maps. Past halos have done well with start game power weapons and set timers. You always had an idea of what weapons to watch for.
Now there is no need to actually be precise with precision weapons just hit body shots and finish with a head shot. The fun with these kind of weapons is to see if you can out shoot your opponent.
I would like to see descope back all together but that isn’t possible for this game it would do away with stability mod

I really do understand your sentiment. However, Halo 4’s maps are set up with personal ordinance in mind. As such, if personal ordinance were to no longer drop power weapons, I would say that the maps would need to be reworked to include more variety. How many maps actually feature a binary rifle? I’ve seen them spawn on Haven a few rare times, but outside of Dominion, they are hard to come by.
> Now there is no need to actually be precise with precision weapons just hit body shots and finish with a head shot.
Yes, but that last head shot is a lot easier with the BR or a non-scoped lightrifle. The DMR is meant for long range, and the BR for mid. To my experience, they work well in their intended ranges, so I’m personally weary of tampering with one and not the other.
> I would like to see descope back all together but that isn’t possible for this game it would do away with stability mod
I’d say screw the stability mod, but that’s me XP
I’d say leave the BR as is or reduce the recoil, since it’s the only one that has it, which would make sense if it was the best, but it isn’t.
The scattershot suggestion has nothing to do with balancing, no one spawns with the scattershot or shotgun, and also even if the two weapons needed balancing, which they don’t, the scattershot has a higher ROF, then the shot gun, so it would be OP in comparison if the range was equal. Not worth the change.
they need to increase the carbines damage to 7 shots and slow down the fire rate of the DMR, Similar to or a little less than light rifle fire rate. It’s meant to be a longer ranged weapon yet it dominates at every range.
im playing H4 after not playing for a few months and i see the lag is still very present. wheres the fix for that?
No to all except the aim assist. That one is annoying. The scattershot is supposed to be more powerful than the shotgun. All forerunner weapons are supposed to be powerful. That’s part of the story. Forerunners are more advanced than us, so they should have better weaponry. No for the battle rifle, is fine as it is. The flinching is pretty bad for the sniper rifle as it is, maybe worse than descoping because unless you are used to it, it’s harder to find someone zoomed in that not. Getting power weapons in personal ordnance was kinda the whole point of a personal ordnance.
“they need to increase the carbines damage to 7 shots”
Carbine has the fastest rate of fire and is the most accurate of the loadout precision weapons. Doesn’t bloom and will fire as fast as you can pull the trigger. Besides, I believe it is already at 7 hits. Maybe 9 but is still not an issue, at least for me.

Carbine is actually 7 shots to deplete shields, and a final headshot for the kill, or 8-shot kill. Also, the Carbine has a capped rate of fire of around 240~270 rounds per minute, or 4 to 4.5 shots per second; therefore it can’t fire as fast as one can pull the trigger, as that would lead to turbo controllers, etc. It still is the fastest precision weapon, though.
That said, regarding precision loadout weapons, the only one that needs to be fixed is the DMR’s extreme magnetism, or a rate of fire reduction. Its kill time is too fast for the amount of magnetism it has, and makes the gun easier to use the Battle Rifle. But then again, I play Team Throwback most of the time, therefore it isn’t really an issue anymore.
