Like seriously, what is the difference? I know there is no sword block and 80% bloom, but that makes zero difference to gameplay. I’ve seen people moan about TU aswell as if it has made a substantial change to Reach. Someone fill me in.
When you stick someone, and they Armor Lock. They actually die in TU.
That’s about it, after the removal of bleedthrough, the difference is negligible.

Once had bleedthrough but was removed for TU gametypes due to a bug.
What Moa said. Also, I think that the gameplay is much better with TU settings. The 85 percent bloom is so much better than default bloom, IMO. Try going from Super Slayer to Team Slayer, and you should notice a big difference with the bloom. I know I do.

Definitely, TU is the only way I can play Reach now.

I don’t tend to play Vanilla or TU much, I usually stick to MLG so I had no idea.

Ditto. I’m not in favor of completely TU’ing the entire game, but I definitely prefer the reduced bloom.
I like to hit my enemies when I fire. So that’s why I like TU.
In Vanilla, the bloom is INSANE. And when you do finally lower someone’s shields, they activate Armor Lock, forcing you to wait even longer for a kill.
The TU just works so much better in my opinion, a lot more fast paced than Vanilla Reach.
85% bloom which means you can fire the DMR much faster since bloom resets faster (crouching gives you nearly 0% bloom since it resets so fast)
Active camo now goes down a lot faster when standing still
Damage to an armor locked player will cause his meter to go down faster (makes him a prime target for nades)
Used to have bleed through which was removed due to bugs (although I have to admit I loved how much faster it made some of the matches).
