TTK

Does anyone know the time to kill of the weapons in h5? I feel like I die really fast compared to other Halos

Still slower than CE but yea give me a few to find the post.

There are vids and websites that have info on this. My take on what I gathered is it’s no different than any other halo game. Each halo you see weapons go up and down game by game but the main weapons like the BR, magnum, Dmr, your precision weapons are relatively the same. The assualt weapons have the fastest ttk which has led to many discussions. Some think them being so strong are bad, others think they’re actually useable for once. I agree with autos finally having a purpose now. In h1-4 I always scrapped them soon as I could, with h5 it just depends what’s available when I pass it, I try to keep a pistol/BR/Dmr for mid to long range engagements and an SMG or storm rifle for short range engagements.

In in short to your question, yes and no. Like I said, some weapon ttk went down, others went up.

4-shot battle rifle

Same # of shots doesn’t mean it’s the same ttk. For example, one BR takes 2.23 seconds to kill, another takes 1.98, another takes 1.76. The reason is cuz the fire rate changes. You die in the same number of shots, but the time you die differs.

yeah I thought that to autos went up, tats what I kinda of always enjoyed about Halo was that the auto weren’t that powerful… only time they were is when you added a melee with your shot.

Most of the TTK’s are in the 1 to 3 second ranges, assuming you get all of your shots on target, and, regarding the precision weapons, assuming you headshot them.

semi automatics: perfect TTK: 1.2 sec.all bodyshots is between 1.5sec (DMR) and 1.8sec. (pistol/CC)
AR: perfect 1.1 sec. ; all bodyshots 1.5 sec
SMG/SR: perfect 0.8 sec.; all bodyshots 0.9 sec.

Really? I had no idea the AR was that lethal. Must just be me.
