TTK Is Too High

I love this game. The speed feels right, good graphics and lighting, and I like the feel. My big complaints are:

  1. It takes way too long to kill someone. This is Halo. If this is going to be the new way then so be it, I guess I can’t do anything about it. However, I have people dead to rights and have about 95% of my AR mag into them. In a standard Halo, that would be enough. I’m just not a fan of how long it takes to kill someone compared to every other Halo.

  2. While I have gotten a few good ‘kill from the graves’ today, I have noticed a good chunk of times when my grenades do not explode. This ‘complaint’ is more so an observation that upsetting.

All that being said, great job on the game. This is the best Halo you all at 343 have made yet in my opinion….that is if you fix the damage taken. It’s just too much. I still managed to have decent KDs in the first four hours, but everyone I was in a party with was complaining about the same thing. Sure, you learn to adjust to ‘what it is’, but we would like it a heck of a lot more if you made adjustments!

He ain’t wrong. The BR is same ttk as Halo 3 and pretty much everything else kills faster than most weapons from Bungie Era halo

I don’t agree. While the AR always takes longer than the BR, so on and so forth, I’m not the only one today who had a guy destroyed, but he has a more health than we are used to, and gets away. As I said, if this is what they want then so be it, it is what it is…but I would really like to see it be easier to kill someone like the older games. I’m noticing substantial more damage dealt, AR or another.

Recoil on guns is different, I’ll have to get used to it.
