Trying to learn bumper jumper

I’m currently learning Bumper Jumper for aim-and-jump, but I need to get used to it. How can I do this?

Play a few campaign missions or something. So you can adjust to the control scheme without having to worry about playing against real opponents.

I learned Bumper Jumper in Firefight during ODST.

Campaign,time and patience.

I learned it relatively quickly. It’s only flaw is that Armor Abilities are used through , therefore making Jetpack based combat nearly impossible.

What’s really fun with it is doing mid-air teabags while fighting since Crouching is restored to [LS]

This is very true. I can’t fathom using Jetpack and still being able to aim/fire at the same time. It just doesn’t work out.

Besides Jetpack combat with Bumper Jumper, just playing Campaign/Spartan Ops will allow you to get used to it. But trust me, at first, you will be messing up on several occasions confusing the buttons to press. After you’ve made it a normal habit, it just flows. Just keep practicing and don’t fret if you mess up on occasion. It’s a really good control scheme to use.

Campaign or Spartan Ops.
Good luck.

Real men don’t use jetpacks anyways.

I recently switched to bumper jumper after using recon settings for my entire halo career, I am actually still just getting use to it I always find that when I try to melee I’m still trying to hit B
Its taking me some time and some really bad games to get use to it but I am starting to get the hang of it and loving the feel of being able to aim while jumping more fluidly
