Pretty self explanatory any1 got any tips?
Don’t rely on your AI buddies. They’re somewhat helpful. But, don’t rush into a battle thinking they have you covered because they don’t. It’s definitely not the hardest campaign but can be tough at times if you don’t play it safe.
Thx man ill keep that in mind
Im Fairly new to halo
Learn to skip some. Trust me, beating the campaign for any Halo game is much easier if you run past everything you can. I’m going to assume you play on a patched version, so maybe watching BatChat’s speedrunning tutorials might help you there. Just don’t be surprised or scared of how broken the game is. If you don’t want to do that, Mythic Tryrant is also another I’d recommend for some tips on how to get through legendary campaign
I’ve never attempted it on legendary but accessing the weapon caches is a must, though it’s easier to find them in the Locke missions. When fighting the warden, regardless of how many enemies there are, always focus on him. Stay away from crawlers and always have a headshot capable weapon at hand.
I would say play at a distance as much as you can and just be aware of your surroundings. Some parts will require different strategies, but honestly, Halo 5 Legendary isn’t all that difficult.
Always have a headshot-capable precision weapon (Magnum, Battle Rifle, DMR, Carbine, or LightRifle) on hand. This will make your experience significantly less frustrating.
Promethean enemies are weak to Promethean/hardlight weapons. Use the Suppressor or Boltshot to destroy their armor and finish them off with a precision weapon.
Shielded Covenant enemies are weak to Covenant/plasma weapons. Ideally, you want to use the charged Plasma Pistol shots to disable their shields to finish them off with a headshot.
All enemies have weak points-
-Soldier: shoulders (armored), head (unarmored), torso (unarmored)
-Knight: left and right glowing circles (armored), head (unarmored/screaming), center back (unarmored)
-Watcher: head (not large enough to actually matter)
-Crawler: head
-Warden Eternal: center back
-Grunt: head
-Jackal: head
-Elite: head (unshielded)
-Hunter: exposed orange regions (back, neck, joints)
If you come across a power weapon, such as a Rocket Launcher or Sniper Rifle, I recommend using it until you have one shot remaining and then give it to one of your AI teammates. It won’t make them any smarter than they were before, but they’re more useful than if they just had Magnums.

I agree here. All it takes is some patience.

And this absolutely applies with some of the Warden fights, especially the last one (where there’s three at once). That is one fight that you 100% should skip right over.
Best of luck to you OP
Take out any sniper first they will wreck you and your ai buddies.
noob combo
Explore as much as possible to find weapons and ammo. Conserve Ammo and Grenades. Headshots, Headshots, Headshots. Also, take cover.
Just reload as you go…
Ok in all seriousness try to stick to ranged weapons like the DMR, BR, light rifle, etc. It’ll help against Warden, and helps you stay out of the line of fire. Don’t use stealth as that really doesn’t work when the enemies know where you are from the start. Try to avoid straying too far from your AL teammates since you’ll need them to heal you when you’re down. For the second level there is a Blaze of Gory hidden in a compartment somewhere, look it up on YouTube, and it’ll help out a lot.
Thx alot guys ill definitely keep all of your advice in mind
Noob combo everybody, and in the missions with vehicles take your time and go slow to keep the health and armor up.
alright thx for the tip
