Try to keep politics out of Halo Infinite lifespan

I’m just worried, 343 will keep taking a stance on social issues and not worrying or considerating their player base and just worrying about media points, all the NMPD nameplate thing was a bit sour since i’m a soon to be cop, and it gives the impression 343 doesn’t care about the police and stuff, not only was that nameplate good with the H3ODST setting, they went out of their way to take it out and put the BLM stuff, so with the armor coatings thing it feels like they’ll put some politics related shaders, and we’d all hate to see that in-game.

Just try to keep it Halo related, don’t get weird ideas.

Completely agree
I don’t care if someone has left leaning beliefs or right leaning beliefs, but the moment those beliefs are awkwardly and unnaturally shoehorned into the game that’s where I draw the line.

I also, personally, hope they don’t try and pull any “Hello fellow kids” bs as well. I just saw the new Saints Row trailer and it’s trying so hard to pander to gen z that it’s almost cringe.

This. I’m left leaning myself and I hate to see the corporate pandering in a lot of big modern games and the larger entertainment industry as well. It makes sense to see maybe from smaller indie devs and their smaller games but keep that kinda stuff outta Halo. No doubt we’ll be getting cringe emotes or customisation in Infinite’s multiplayer down the line it’s kinda inevitable but please keep the campaign untainted by our real world at least. Halo has an established universe and adding things purely as social commentary for our world ruins immersion in the worst way.

And yeah that Saint’s Row trailer was so bad, almost felt like a parody of contemporary tropes and trends.

we just need enough noise and to hope we won’t have -Yoink- customization, sadly i’m not good at making so much noise

These discussions inevitably lead to a lot more work for me. The community has demonstrated it can’t discuss this matter civilly and constructively so the topic won’t be discussed here at this time.
