just because someone is good doesn’t make them a try hard. If some one is better than you respect that. You are suppose to try to win no matter if it is social or ranked.

For me, the point is not to win but to have fun and enjoy myself whether it’s social or ranked. That is why I use a variety of weapons on the map, listen to music/eat cereal while playing and avoid Breakout (so I don’t have to wait to respawn). I could care less whether I win or lose. Halo 5 makes it tough at times though because it’s so super competitive, but I find ways to have fun!

That literally makes no sense. The whole point of the game is to win. The point is to beat the other team. So of course it’s competitive. That’s what all games are.

For me tryhard isn’t a bad thing. I try my best to do good. Nothing bad about that.

If you go full MLG strafe + crouch + Thruster in a Social Playlist… you are a tryhard. Granted I’m guilty of that too, but most of the time I’m driving a scout warthog having fun mowing people over. The objective is to have fun in and if you win that’s great! It’s not a place you should go 100% because you got rekt in Arena.

so it doesn’t make sense to play to the game to have fun? you’re that ignorant… that’s why half the population bought the game, of course you want to win but the whole point of video games is to have fun THEN win. If you not having fun and enjoying the game then why are you playing it…? winning isn’t everything to some people you need to understand that.

My friend called me a try hard once because I went like 20 and 2 on a Fiesta game. He basically said it was because I sent him a picture of my stats which means that’s all I care about and that’s not what social is. At one point he suggested I should have died more so I could have gotten different weapons because that’s the fun of the gamemode. It was a strange conversation. I had my own rebuttals, buy I want to know what y’all think!
