I want to bring up a substantial note of why Truth HCS (version 3) is unsuitable for competitive Halo based off the recipes of other competitive maps and the fundamental way it performs comparable to other maps. On the agenda of why the alterations; Truth the original version (Team Arena) was mutually agreed to be unfairly unbalanced.with the automatic weapons and splinter grenades and so the multiplayer team at 343 Industries decided a change was needed going forward.
During the Summer Preview 2017, 343 Industries multiplayer team tested a few different versions of the competitive maps, each being iterated until it was agreed to be competitively balanced.
“Truth HCS (version 1)* was unsuitable due to the apparent strength of the Covenant Carbine and Battle Rifle in conjunction with the Magnum starts and by connection range differences, which is why the multiplayer team opted to iterate and hence Truth HCS (version 2)** which featured only the Battle Rifle relocated at Carbine Tower, however this still left a imbalance to the map, resulting in Truth HCS (version 3) to feature no rifles at all and only a Tactical Magnum Bottom Mid.”
My thoughts; the whole premise of the alterations was to remove the automatic weapons and splinter grenades for performance purposes and nerfing to possibly re-add in a future update… however removing the Battle Rifle and Covenant Carbine has the left the map scarce and without real initiative to rotate for those precision weapons, as well as offering strength when holding map control, and seriously Truth HCS (version 3) is the black sheep of all the competitive maps with no precision rifles?
For example; Look at Fathom or Coliseum,
- Fathom has 6 precision weapons; - Coliseum has 4 precision weapons;The average precision weapons on each of the competitive maps is 3.25…?!
Solution; Truth needs a Carbine and Battle Rifle on their respective towers, however for balancing purposes add the Tactical Magnum to the bases (preferably the basements) so players can push out of the bases and off spawn, either that or go with Truth HCS (version 2) and add a Tactical Magnum at Pink Tower 2… current iteration is foreign in comparison.

TL;DR Truth HCS (version 3) needs additional precision weapons to promote map movement, control and ease of pushing. Suggested solutions are:
- Battle Rifle at Carbine Tower 2 and Tactical Magnum at Pink Tower 2 - Battle Rifle at Pink Tower 2, Covenant Carbine at Carbine Tower 2 and Tactical Magnums at Basements
