Then get a rifle and a plasma pistol. Spray around with a rifle to see them then finish them with the plasma pistol

And activate the Bandanna Skull…
Try watching Tyrant’s Legendary Guide for it. That’s what I used to beat it on Legendary, and it helped a TON. He has a lot of good tips, and they’re really helpful. Hope this helps.

You’re welcome
Tyrant is the best.if you won’t a hand message me.
Is this the part just as you enter the truth and rec? where you have your marines with four doors around you with invis elites jackals and grunts? For this area you need to be at max sniper ammo and take on a plasma pistol too. If the area you are referring to is after you break out the marines and captain keyes then you can take them out with plasma pistol/plasma rifle combo. Remember that the assault rifle in Halo CE on heroic is unreliable and on legendary it is useless. Plasma hurts covenant much more in CE than other halos. But if you need assistance I know of a link to watch a deathless legendary run, it was done on Halo Ce for PC.

No problem. Your guides have helped me a ton, so the least I can do is share them. Can’t wait for the rest of your Anniversary guide.
This one is tough (and frustrating).
Allow me to also thank Tyrant for his informative and entertaining vids / tutorials.
With that said, try to kill the 1st invisible as fast as you can. He will take out your support Marines if you don’t. It won’t help much, but everything you can do will help.
LISTEN for sounds. This is key. Doors opening, grunts talking, etc. These are clues to what is happening around you; it will help you develop your defence.
USE the doors opening as a place to regain your strength and get a break from the heat. You will see in some cases the Elites are reluctant coming into your area if you are inside the corredor. This only lasts so long, but use it while you can.
WATCH your HUD for clues.
DON’T underestimate the strength of the grunts! They have grenades, and will use them. Try to take them out in the corredors if you can, or use them to take themselves out. When they throw a grenade, if you straddle left or right, they sometimes will go over close to a grenade and boom, you got a freebee.
MIX it up! The definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over & over expecting different results”. If it didn’t work the first 20 times, it still isn’t going to work. I found that trying to think I was smarter than the game would let me succeed, but sometimes, I just did something simple and received better results.
As others have said, Bandana Skull. It may seem like a cheat, but there IS a reason the programmers include items for use in the game.
You can do it… I beat it on Legendary Solo, so anyone can! LOL
WOOHOO!!..I DID IT lol
just tried again a few times with no luck and always getting an invisible elite slashing me in the back,so out of curiosity i switched to classic mode and finished the section first time,i jumped onto the wraith and stayed there picking them off with the sniper and using the 4 grenade/plasmas that i had,i only jumped off the wraith once to pick up 2 plasma grenades.when the 2 big guys entered the room(forgot their names lol)i sniped one then jumped off to kill the last one.
im now relieved i am past that point and thank you guys for all your help
Epic moment today as I was on two betrayals on legendary, I was on the bridge heading for generator #2 and an elite general with a sword abushed me. I thought I was DEAD and I shot him with my shotgun point blank, dodged his swing at me and killed him. I have never gone that close to a sword wielder before!

That makes the game way too easy though, but yes, this is probably the best way to get past this section.
I got stuck here when playing it on Legendary as well. Also posted about it. Basically, I just kept trying until I got it.

It’s much more easier on Legendary since CE Zealots are flawed and only one Stealth Elite spawns.
And yeah, the Stealth Elites in the new graphics are way off from their classic counterparts. They’re harder to see (even when taking damage) but their weapons are always visible. A far-from-sensible trade. Really breaks immersion. In every Halo game, shooting a cloaked enemy renders them visible. But not in Anniversary. Tsk tsk tsk…

Elite Zealot*
Anyways, that Goldie is very efficient against Flood. Leading him to the next room instead of killing him can help clear the Flood. It’s much more rewarding to utilize enemies.
