I just beat Halo 4 on legendary solo several weeks ago and am now attempting anniversary. I got through the first 2.5 missions easily, but ran into some major problems when I entered the ship. I cannot get past the part where the multiple waves of covenant (including multiple sword elites) rush you. I’ve tried getting into the passage ways next to the room, but I always end up getting rushed by 2+ sword elites. How did everyone else get past this on solo legendary?
That is a very hard part of the mission I just went on the Internet and watch some videos on that mission took me about 10/15 goes at it.
Did you keep the Sniper? It works wonders in it
First of all switch the graphics to classic. That makes the sword elites easier to see. Second realize that the invisible elites have no shields so use head shots with the sniper or use the AR. Third Start by standing in the middle and watching all the doors. When you hear a door open find it and focus on it. Usually only one out of the 4 doors opens at a time. Try to keep the marines alive. Oh and be ready for the hunters after you finish the sword elites. This is an area you can’t run through you need to kill everything to move on. Be patient and careful.
They is also a invis near the wrath which comes in handy for the hunters.
Thanks guys, I was able to beat the whole level last night.

It’s a good mission when I first played it i was running around like a headless chicken didnt know what to do.congrats on doing it thou.
Good job. It’s a fun mission overall. Good luck with the rest of the game.
Thanks, I’m on Two Betrayals now.

Oh boy, that needs some work! Good luck!
late entry, but if you have the skull that gives you unlimited ammo you should turn that on. Toss end less plasma grenades at the enemies, preferably before they exit through the doors.

Good call!
Beat the whole campaign earlier today. I had to replay Two Betrayals and The Maw because I had accidentally done them on normal.
You should try halo 2 on legandary now that’s hard.
I remember going for the “Leave It Where It Lay” achievement. I misread the subtext and thought you couldn’t switch weapons, so I did like 90% of the level with a plasma pistol and grenades haha (thank god for bandana <3). I don’t look forward doing “Look Out for the Little Guys” at all, still haven’t pushed to do it yet
You could have a second controller kill the grunts in “Look Out for the Little Guys” if you want :o
Hide behind the marines, and use both types of grenades, then finish 'em off with AR spam.
I haven’t played CEA in a while, but i believe one of the marines have a shotgun. If not, just use the sniper and stay near the corners, and keep a close eye out. Also, use a Plasma Rifle. It will make it easier to spot the Sword Wielding Elites.
I have beaten Halo’s 3, ODST, Reach, and 4 on Legendary. I have NEVER (and not through lack of trying) been able to beat CE & 2 on anything higher than Heroic. The first two games are by far the hardest. (Reach was the easiest / least frustrating)
