Every single game of social slayer is the same 2 maps over and over, what gives? I haven’t played since last year, but in the past few days it has been constantly giving me the same 2 maps! What happened to Empire, Eden, The Rig, Riptide, Overgrowth, etc.?
There should be a third map in the rotation as well. But, Quick Play is only supposed to have three maps in order to fulfill its purpose as an intro playlist.

Again, different playlists. Anniversary Slayer definitely offers others

Quick Play has 3 maps in rotation (Plaza, Truth, and Coliseum) the other maps like Empire, Eden, and The Rig can be found in Slayer or Team Arena.

I didn’t realize that the playlist was designed to only have those specific maps! I thought I was just unlucky, my friend just got Halo 5 and I haven’t played since last year, I thought social slayer was still the place to play on any map without the pressure of ranked players. Strange that it changed to be an ‘intro playlist’.

I feel your pain, as a regular player, it gets old. If you are ever looking for a map to play as a warm up and want something different than the regular maps, I made a cross between Truth and Coliseum called: Ludus Magnus
Or: Ludus Magnus HCS can be played 1v1 but works better 2v2 to 4v4. Just an offer to switch up the mundane.

Yeah, a dedicated social slayer playlist would be nice. H5 moved toward Fiesta modes and that’s what 343i doubled down on. They’re great fun and especially so for Fiesta fans, but those who like traditional modes have been left unsatisfied.
